Nice but overpriced
I'm sure that in it's day Cumberland Resort was top notch, but it looks very tired and desperately in need of some TLC. I felt it was extremely overpriced for the overall condition of the resort.

Great location, excellent staff. This property is dated and whilst the penthouse had heaps of room and great views, the bedrooms were lit up by the lighting outside the room which made sleeping very uncomfortable.

Dated. Plaster was peeling from bathroom walls. Spa-bath would not pass current building regulations. Doors and architraves were chipped and badly needed painting.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very clean, quiet and spacious. The only downside was the beds weren’t very comfortable. We could feel every spring in the mattress. Maybe a pillow top would help fix the problem. Otherwise very happy with the room.
