Good, but check the room first

My husband went to check in the room while I went for takeaway across the street. Bad news: our room apparently was very moldy smelling. Good news: they upgraded us to an apartment. Although the outcome was good, they have to know the first room was bad, (please fix that!!) so I’m hoping this doesn’t happen to someone else. We’d stay again because the property had all sorts of activities and we had a killer sunrise in the morning.

Good location but could be cleaner

The location was excellent with our apartment being right next to the route to the beach, surrounded by trees. The apartment itself was ok, a bit dated. Cleanliness let it down. Most of the crockery or cutlery we got out of the cupboard had to be washed before we could use it, the edges of the carpets don’t get hoovered - it just felt a bit grubby and they don’t do housekeeping so stay for any longer than a couple of days and I think it would be pretty bad

The bath/shower eas do hard for my father in law while he was getting out he actually slipped and feel down into the bath Not safe at all for the elderly Apart from that it was good

Lovely stay thank you. I noticed though when the rooms are cleaned that the beds are only made, nothing else. Room was not vacuumed and toilet paper was not replenished, disappointing. Otherwise a wonderful stay, staff friendly and helpful, a wonderful stay.

This is a nice base to use when exploring the area. The beach is easily accessed, the indoor pool is good, though a bit warm if you are swimming for exercise, and it is in close proximity to 'restaurant row' in Lorne. The building seems to be well maintained, though is a bit dated. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is ok. Overall, a good choice for travellers staying in the area for a few days.

The stay was lovely - our family had a great time. Just a few things to improve the experience; the staff was polite but not always attentive. We had to remind a few times for things like towels. The breakfast was good though we only had one day where Pork wasn’t on the menu. Would be good for some Halal / non-pork options. Lots of wildlife but that meant lots of duck and bird poop everywhere.

So central to everything in town. Beautiful location. Heated swimming pool. Spa. Gym. Don’t book a room with ‘classic view’ as it looked into a courtyard where everyone was sitting and was a little noisy and we had to keep blinds down for privacy. But great property otherwise.

Lorne is is the most beautiful coastal, ocean, holiday destination along the stunning Great Ocean Road in Victoria!. I love this surf town vibes.
