The property itself is in a perfect position for, like we were, joining a cruise. The immediate area is not terribly nice but we had no safety issues. The manager and staff were excellent

Very affordable place to stay for a night or two prior to leaving on a cruise. Conveniently located and walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. No breakfast; our room was clean with comfortable bed. But noisy room that was too light. Would stay here again, but don’t have high expectations.

The Guest House is very conveniently located for cruisers. The room is huge and very clean, although you will hear the traffic. If you want a quiet sleep I strongly recommend earplugs, but otherwise it’s a great place. We walked in the late afternoon around the neighborhood and with my husband together we felt safe.

A lovely little hotel, family-run and no frills but very friendly and perfectly satisfied I arrived a little early and since housekeeping was still working they stored my suitcase while I went to find something to eat The neighborhood isn’t the nicest but doesn’t feel unsafe and there are restaurants, grocery, the waterfront, and things to do within walking distance I could hear traffic noise in my room but it’s a main road so this is normal. The only way to change that would be new windows. It didn’t bother me

The room was clean and very well outfitted. Fridge, microwave. Sam at the front desk was super helpful w/ suggestions for food and other things. A great place to stay when staging for a cruise.

Staff were super helpful and accommodated my needs for a ground floor room due to a foot injury, also allowed me to check in early after a long flight from Australia. Room was spotlessly clean, basic but very comfortable. The surrounding area is a little noisy at night but I only stayed for one night so not a problem. Staff organised a taxi for me in the morning to the cruise port. Highly recommend this hotel.

GOOD: It's newly renovated, roomy, the bed is comfy and the staff is helpful. The parking is good and there are many nice restaurants within easy walking distance. A grocery store and a gas station are also close. We did not use this for a cruise, but they offer parking and transportation options for those who do. BAD: GOOD: Room was clean, roomy and bed was comfortable. Also well-lit, but see below. Hotel is in a convenient location with good parking included. BAD: Unfortunately we found the room to be very dirty -- mainly in serious need of dusting. Also there is no reading lamp AT ALL, you can't read in bed or get up in the middle of the light without turning on the bright overhead lights, which then wakes your partner.
