Not a very good stay
This hotel is very pretty but a lot of things aren’t considered or done very well. Not suitable for a multiple day stay. The fridge was very small and didn’t keep leftovers cold. There was no microwave, which feels like it should be pretty standard. We got one roll of toilet paper and had to call down for more at which point they brought us one more roll. There no room for storage anywhere. The balcony was really beautiful but was typically too sunny to spend time on during the day. There was lack of clarity at check in. We had to call just figure out where to go and they don’t tell you that when you pay for parking ($30 a day) you have to wait for someone to let you in every single time. It just overall did not feel worth the money.

A diamond in the ruff. Secured parking below the hotel. Large ceilings in the rooms. King sized beds are spacious. Nicely renovated.

The cleaning staff came into my room unannounced to clean the room. I did not ask them to come inside unannounced. I had left the hotel to run an errand. While I was out that’s when the staff came into my room. They invaded my PRIVACY! My card was charged for a purchase I did not make! I had my notebook on the desk with my passwords to all of my accounts and personal information. Immediately after, I noticed a charge on my bank account that I did not make. I suspect my personal information was compromised to commit fraud. They also charge for a deposit upon arrival. It’s been days and the deposit it’s still not sent to my bank. Horrible experience.

Very cute, stylish hotel in a developing neighborhood. At first the setting seemed odd - a hotel surrounded by mostly homes, but as we explored found a wonderful bakery (Tartine) and breakfast spot (Vicky's). We were also walking distance to the Metro to attend a football game at USC. Overall great experience!

Much like the real world Alsace Lorraine - this place has slight identity issues. Boutique Hotel vibe? Check! Boutique hotel feeling? No Check! There's a lot I liked and some things I wasn't crazy about. Shower didn't have a door - but the plugs and lamps on each side of the bed was well placed and gave ample room for plugs. Also if you're looking to do any work in the privacy of your room, your seat is a stool. Not amazing - but not unusable. The area itself if fine, felt safe walking alone at night. All in all, I'd recommend it if you pay less than I did.

Have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and it's so good I'm unlikely to stay elsewhere in LA in future. I find that the attitude of staff on arrival is a really good indication of how a property will be and without question everyone working here are delightful, friendly and helpful. A massive plus. The rooms are perfectly sized with great facilities. Very comfortable and beautifully designed. Great pool and lovely courtyard to relax in. Huge added bonus is the complimentary breakfast doughnuts and coffee!

The most memorable stays so far. Love the service and welcoming staff. They kindly helped us loading and unloading luggage. The courtyard is a lovely space ti have breakfast and even just sit there and space out. The hotel is nicely designed with great taste that can make your stays feel delightful.

Paid a little over $300 for a place a room that was 90 degrees when I entered it. No instructions on where to park. A swimming pool that is extremely unattractive. And no breakfast or bar on sight. Just so underwhelming on so many level. I could have spent less money for something equally cute and more comfortable. Do yourself a solid and really think if this is a good use of your money. Had I asked myself that question, it would have been a hard no.
