Alsace is one of the cleanest places I’ve ever been. It looks brand new. It absolutely suited my needs as it is close to the 10 and is just ten minutes from a friends house. I found street parking easily - their garage is an extra $30/night. It has a boutique vibe with friendly Joshua there to greet you. In the morning there’s coffee and breakfast breads. Also Nespresso in the room. The neighborhood is not ‘desirable’? Nor is it bad. There’s a fantastic cocktail lounge next door as well as Chulita Mexican food. Another plus is the restaurant will deliver to your room! This includes their fantastic margaritas! Another plus is a great market on the other side for picking up last minute items. Otherwise one might have to walk further or drive. There’s also a Tartine a few more blocks away. Otherwise there’s a printing place and auto parts…it’s just a quirky area. I loved getting a balcony room with a sofa, chairs and table outside! It was like a huge living area! Views of palms over a neighbprhood. Five Wits bath products were very nice - kind of Aveda-herbal scents. Loooved the bedding. It was a wonderful sanctuary in between visiting friends and partying. Very peaceful. Pool area small but also pristine and lovely. Great vibe all around if you like clean modern and calm.

Front desk staff was wonderful and very helpful with the questions and requests me and my husband had. The hotel was clean! The complimentary Nespresso was a bonus. We’re glad that we decided to rent a car, because it would have harder to travel around to sight see, get food etc.

A Stylish Hidden Gem in LA

I absolutely loved my stay at Alsace LA! From the moment I walked in, the hotel had this cool, modern vibe—chic but still super welcoming. The rooms are beautifully designed, super clean, and packed with thoughtful touches like comfy robes, a stocked minibar, and a smart TV. The outdoor pool is the perfect place to relax, and I loved that they offer free bikes to explore the neighborhood. Plus, the staff was fantastic—genuinely friendly and always happy to help. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel in LA that’s stylish, comfortable, and just an all-around great place to stay, Alsace LA is it. Can’t wait to come back!
