Lovely retro-style hotel that has clearly had some extensive renovations recently. Pros: -LOCATION! A 5 minute walk from Hollywood Blvd, Metro Station and lots of best bars and restaurants. - VIBE! Very cool references to old Hollywood throughout the hotel. Make sure to take the stairs from the lobby to the roof (yes you can access the roof top for great views of the city) to see so much movie and culture memorabilia across the walls. AMENITIES: really cool pool deck area, classic diner and high end bar on site. A little pricey but good reviews. Cons: It’s an older building so the sound proofing is questionable. We could hear the room above us stomping throughout the day and night, and you can hear people’s conversations and TV’s while walking down the halls. -The water pressure in the bathroom was pretty abysmal. Barely a trickle from the shower head but gets extremely hot very quickly. -the area surrounding the hotel is quite sketchy, especially once it’s dark. Wouldn’t recommend walking the neighbourhood at night. -would’ve been nice if the TV had internet connectivity or the option to connect a fire stick or stream from a mobile device. Cable TV gets boring after a while. All in all, would definitely stay here again if the rates were good.

Staff was very friendly and helpful 10/10. The water pressure for the shower was horrible, I mean really bad. Hallways always smelled like sausage or bacon because of the restaurant below. Fitness room was terrible, only a treadmill and that’s it. Pool equally bad. Room was ok other than shower but that alone will make me not want to stay there. But I must say the staff was absolutely amazing, valet guys were great!

The rooms were cute and the staff were pretty nice. The building is clearly very old and the updates made are pretty sloppy. I was most excited for a hot shower after a long day and the water pressure was so horrible it was almost impossible to feel clean. The parking feels like a scam. They charge you $50 for “valet” parking, but it’s so unnecessary because the parking lot is right next to the entrance. I would say it’s more inconvenient that it’s valet rather than self serve. Overall I don’t recommend staying here.

Disappointing Stay – Wouldn’t Return Finding the Adler Hotel is a challenge—there’s no signage outside, so unless you’re glued to your maps app, good luck spotting it. Stayed in a king room, which was decent, but if you plan to stay in, bring your own entertainment. The smart TV is blocked from connecting to the network, so you’ll need an Apple TV, HDMI cable, or maybe even your own TV to get anything working. Calling management for help? Expect to be told to “Google it” instead of getting actual answers. The check-in process felt cold and transactional: “ID? Card? Do you have a car? That’ll be $38 a day. Your room is on the third floor.” 🖕 The only real highlight was the valet worker—super nice and helpful. The bathroom is spacious (though no bidet or wipes), the bed is comfy, and there’s a decent couch, but overall, this place lacks warmth and hospitality. If you can book an Airbnb instead, do it. Definitely won’t be returning.

We went to a show at the Fonda Theater and the hotel was in a perfect location! Easy to find, awesome diner and bar. The room was very spacious. We will definitely stay here again

Not the best, not the worst

The hotel needs updating. The room basically has everything you need just old. The restaurant is not opened for dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays and that’s of course when I stayed. I had to walk a couple blocks for food. Your only choice was burgers or pizza that was close. It was dark and I wasn’t sure how safe the city was. Lots of homeless outside of hotel. The pizza was very expensive and not very good. You don’t have ice in your building. You have to go to the building next-door to get ice. The laundry room was really dirty. The staff is exceptionally nice. The hotel is very close to the Hollywood walk of fame. The restaurant when opened has really good breakfast. I highly recommend the French toast!
