The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Kevin was especially helpful with suggesting places to visit and the best restaurants nearby. The location was great because it’s not far from Santa Monica.

I don't typically leave reviews but unfortunately this was the most negative hotel experiences i have had - i travel for work often and have stayed in many hotels around the globe. The room was dark and dingy and the air was heavy and stuffy. The blankets on the bed consisted of a single sheet and a very thin blanket on top, it was quite cold in the night. The walls were incredibly thin, i could hear doors slamming when people came and went - this woke me up a few times in the night. I could hear everything in the rooms close to mine - conversations, dogs barking, night time activities... I woke up in the middle of the night to an incredibly loud noise when the shower turned on in a room around mine. The TV had no cable and when i turned it on, the TV was set to the french language. While the staff at the hotel was friendly, the rooms simply were not as they were pictured and the cost of what i was charged did not translate into the quality and state of room i was given. My room did not have a bath tub but an open floorplan bathroom where the shower floor had no boundary into the bathroom area, it was quite slippery when i got out of the shower area. The shower head only stood about 4.5 feet tall, i am 5'9 so it was difficult to wash hair.

Cozy, comfortable, and clean. Perfect for a night or two in the area. Staff was extremely helpful dealing with a mishap (Expedia canceled my reservation out of nowhere) and polite. Only potential downside is that the parking lot has about eight spots, so it could get tight if the hotel is busy. Overall I would gladly stay again.

Very well located to visit North LA. Staff very kind and pro active. We had a toilet problem and solved within the hour. Rooms are comfortable and enough space. Huge bathroom ! Point to improve breakfast lounge a bit too small and the light in our room 217 a bit dark. But very nice stay in global.

The width of the bathroom was 3 feet, very cramped. The room on the 2nd floor was next to the street (Sepulveda) and it had traffic noise all night long. I would not go back to this lodging for 1/2 the price.
