Nice hotel

The hotel is updated and pretty. Overall we were very happy with our stay. A couple things that effected the score is that each of our beds had minor stains on the bedding, and we were put on the first floor which was very loud until midnight or so. I would stay here again but would request to be on a higher floor.

Blown off and disregarded

After driving eight hours and checking into our room, we just wanted to relax and watch tv. The tv was not working right. I asked for help immediately and was told the engineer had to go home on an emergency. At 9:16 pm the front desk finally offered to switch rooms but we were in bed already and upset. We are seniors and just wanted to relax with the tv. I was promised the GM would contact me at 8am the next morning. He never did. I reported the lack of management, communication and excuses. Never heard from anyone. Just got “the look”. I was born and raised a couple miles away and it was so disappointing to be “blown off”. It’s 10 hours later now and still have not heard from hotel. I can not recommend this hotel. Did I mention I have over a million air miles from traveling? It’s a shame to receive this treatment in my hometown.

I liked the hotel except for two things which bothered me. 1. Despite being in a suburban location with plenty of parking space, the hotel charges $18 a night for parking. Other similar hotels provide free parking. 2. The "free" Internet service did not work. I was unable to connect to their server and when I finally did, the service got interrupted. This is a very serious issue for business travelers who depend on reliable Internet service to do their work, including conference calls. I had to use my phone or connect to my phone via a hotspot.
