The hotel has a very modern and stylish design, with a clean, minimal look that feels both comfortable and trendy. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully laid out, with smart technology controls. The hotel itself is extremely clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the emphasis on security, you need a room key to access elevators and certain areas, which adds peace of mind. There is also added security guard at the entrance of hotel 24 hours. The location is convenient, right in downtown LA, close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. Like many areas of downtown, there can be some homeless presence nearby, but I never felt unsafe. The hotel itself feels like a secure and calming escape from the bustle outside.

As far as cleanliness goes, the room was disgusting. Dirt, grime and different types of hairs in the bed and in the room everywhere. The bed was absolutely disgusting. Surrounding area was noisy snd dirty (construction going on in the surrounding area, trash everywhere, and homelessness was very prominent.

We really enjoyed this hotel, the staff were super nice and answered all of our questions and even held onto our luggage even tho we had a flight at 7pm! They’re super amazing! They also have security for the building so I feel super safe in the hotel! Outside of the hotel it’s not too far from the train stations or bus stations, but just be careful due to homeless population at night. Otherwise I’d stay again 100% 5 stars for this hotel.

Stayed for three nights in the middle of DTL close to the train stations and bus stops (we loved this part). Our room was super clean, very modern and the staff was super nice. Breakfast and Coffee options was 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

I usually like citizenM, however the air conditioning was not working the entire night and I was sweating profusely. It made me really uncomfortable to sleep while being so hot. Also the tv doesn’t connect to phone for streaming
