The front desk staff was amazing the line staff as well. However, the manager was not very nice and in fact had no heart at all. I'm not sure why she's in this business. I book rooms all the time and will never bring my guests here again, but for the manager.

Comfortable stay with some inconveniences
Solid for the price, only had issues with inconvenient parking system— just very awkward architecture makes parking take longer than should. Daily reset card system is also inconvenient. The good thing is service was always available to help with any issues.

Front desk was rude, trying to charge us double for a pre-paid stay. We had the "do not disturb" on the door and housekeeping tried to come in twice at two different times during the day even when we said we did not want service. Floors were gross and sticky. No bathroom in lobby during breakfast. Would not stay here again.

A one sentence summary for this hotel is: it gets the job done. You won't have a bad time in this hotel if you need to be in the area. It's kind of between downtown and Hollywood, so youll need to bus, drive or Uber to most places you want to go, and its not near the subway, but the bus does make it accessible enough if that's your situation. The hotel itself is clean, and the staff ard pleasant. There's a pretty nice pizza restaurant in the building which is a highlight, and the included breakfast in the lobby is a step above continental with a waffle machine and eggs/sausage patties with the usual suspects. It's not great, but not bad. But it also bizarrely ends at 9:30am which is potentially a bit inconvenient if you wake up past 9. The bed is a bit too firm for me, but not bad. The shower pressure is not great, but not bad. You get the picture? Although theres not much to do in the area, the restaurants in this part of town are actually pretty great. If you like to walk you'll have a good time walking NW discovering some great places for a bite. A great point is the powerful, quiet AC, this is a good place for a heat wave - it worked like a dream even in 34°C (93°F) heat, so dont crank that thing to low or you'll wake up freezing. A downside is that you'll have to reactivate your room key every morning. Considering that the front desk person has other duties and can't be there all the time, that caused a few inconveniences on my end. So there it is: it's fine.

Our room had a funky smell to it. From the A/C and carpet. Room is outdated and bathroom door would not close properly. Areas were worn and bathroom soaps were very low quality. Breakfast was below average. Great location, but building needs some updating for the price.

I had no real problems staying here other than having to key your room card everyday… sometimes three times! Huge inconvenience especially when they tell you ahead of time, fine, but then you return to the property and it doesn’t work. The rooms were fine. Beds were a little hard, that’s a preference I guess. We put the do not disturb sign out everyday for no housekeeping, but found they still entered. Not cool. It was a location in the middle of all the things we wanted to do which was great. Staff were friendly. Wish there were more food options nearby but that’s not the hotels fault, had to Uber food.
