Wanted to like it. Looks like they tried to upgrade but very cheaply. Wallpaper peeling, stains on carpet. The bed was not comfortable. No extra pillows or blankets. Bathroom was not updated. The lobby and main hall are cute. Staff was nice and cordial. Room and bathroom were clean. Ok for 1 night.

This place was great to stay at for our visit to Universal Studios (7-10 minutes away). Lots of parking on site and free. Rooms clean and quite to sleep in. No breakfast but they did serve coffee, tea, and pop tarts! Staff was friendly and nice, no issues.

They tried really hard with the lobby which was very inviting, but the hallways and rooms (at least the room I had) definitely needed some TLC. It just wasn’t very inviting whatsoever. Bed was comfortable though.

First day we came the receptionist , the gentleman did not know anything about anything. We ask questions the answer was I don’t know. Not a pleasant face. The bath tubs has to be changed. Even though it is 3 star hotel, you don’t have to see rusted areas. The safe was not working in the room. We asked the stuff we need someone to come and fix the safe, he said we can’t do anything. So we had to carry or our belongings with us. Won’t go again.

Checking in was delayed, at first it was understandable, because I came around 2:30 ish which is really early than the checking in time which is 3:00pm, I came back at 3pm, they said room is not ready yet and they’re already rushing it. Back at 3:30, I was told that room os bot ready yet, was offered a different room but I can’t coz I am with my 2 kids and husband, we reserve a 2 queen beds, We were able to check in at around 3:40 ish, and the guy in front desk didn’t even show any empathy to us, did said sorry but didn’t feel the sincerity. No power outlet on the side table. Room is pretty decent and clean though, 2 queen bed with only 2 pillows each bed. Ask for an extra pillow, we waited for 4 hours, nothing came, we have to go down to the lobby to get an extra pillow.

Old spring mattress.. old AC.. bad lighting.. old fridge and microwave. Just old everywhere including lobby. Advertised a restaurant but had none.
