I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in many, many hotels and motels. Everything from Kempinski in Berlin to The Red Roof in Lompoc. And I have never reviewed any of them. I’m making an exception for The Del Amo Inn because although it isn’t luxury in the usual sense… by name or expensive accommodation, it has, for me, been every bit a luxury experience. It’s the staff. It’s the management. It’s how the place is run and maintained. No, they’re not paying a million bucks on landscaping nor are they putting a mint under your pillow. So why do I write the review? Because these people are genuine. To the last. This is likely the only place I know where the housekeeping staff simply want to do their job without bothering you and they’re so sincere about it that I’m not even sure that’s what’s happening until I ask for something. I have to pantomime a little. But they are so genuine and kind about my requests and so are the front desk staff. Everyone here seems simply to want to stay out of the way of my experience whatever it is on any particular day. And I appreciate that. I’m an old man. I’ve been everywhere and I’ve been staying in hotels for going on 6 decades. I don’t need housekeeping waking me up.

Great location but they need something thicker/war

Close to Del Amo Fashion Center and a good variety of places to eat. Parking is good, but all they put on the bed is a sheet and extremely thin end of bed thing. Luckily I wasn’t freezing in bed.

Gross disgusting

The worst hotel ever super dirty smells like cigarette moisture disgusting ACs are full of dirt Grime the windowsill is full of grime. I literally slept in my clothes I was traveling from LA to San Diego run highway robbery don’t stop here needs a complete U-Haul from the entrance to the inside. You can’t even use the ice machine. Looks like it has Lyme disease. It’s just disgusting. I do apologize in advance. I wasn’t able to take the photos. It was like a quick and go never again run run while you can.

The room had cockroach in it, the walls are broken, some lights are not working, and there are stains and marks on the pillow case. Pretty scary to live in to be honest. Just live in it because it's the cheapest motel around the area I want to be in.
