I been staying here for several years because it close to my office ,the rooms are getting old an outdated .i just stayed for 2 weeks my first room smelled like sewer then my second room the the shower filled with water while taking a shower. There is no coffe out during the day . For the money you would expect more . Think it’s time to move on ! The staff is great thou

My two biggest concerns were with the room and parking! I had issues with the AC, the Toilet and someone going into my room when they weren’t supposed to. The $30 daily parking fee is just ridiculous!

Noisy hotel

Usually I wouldn't write a review but my experience at this Doubletree was so bad. First, usually my stay at a Doubletree includes one of their famous chocolate chip cookies at check in but I wasn't even offered one so that was already a sign that we were going to have a bad experience. Secondly, the walls and windows are not insulated from sound so you can hear everything happening around the room. I would have expected being in proximity to LAX airport that we'd get airplane noise, but thankfully that was not the case. Instead we had the following two situations which made our stay challenging. Our room was situated on the second floor, directly above the event room where on Saturday night (8/23) there was a retirement party with amplified music and karaoke happening after we returned to our room at 8:30pm after a long day out. We were told by the hotel staff that it would stop immediately at 11pm but it didn't stop until 11:30pm since we had to call again at 11:10pm asking why the party hadn't ended. We were not given any heads up that a party would be directly beneath our room with the bass coming from the music impacting our quality of rest. We were also not given any compensation or offer to move rooms due to the noise. On the following evening, a car in the parking lot decided to play "And the beat goes on" by The Whispers (ironically) on repeat more for over half an hour. It took another call to the front desk to call security and address.

Never again

No water pressure in the faucet or shower. Room & windows weren’t clean. Pillows were small, thin & very uncomfortable. Little triangle trash cans were so small, it was basically an ornament. I asked for room to be cleaned & fresh towels, but the clerk was very rude & asked "didn't you just checked in?". (We had checked in the night before) Overall, nothing was done when we came back to the room 9 hours later. Icemaker on our floor wasn't working so we had to go to the other floors. My kids & I are allergic to pork. At the continental breakfast, chicken and pork sausages were in the same warmer, touching each other. Apples were bruised & old. Being a veteran, I traveled a lot in many countries and this stay was one of the worst.

Front desk staff were very helpful. The only thing was my room was never cleaned then when I mentioned it to the front desk room still wasn't cleaned and housekeeping just went to the room and put towels in the bathroom.

My stay was for a retirement celebration held at the property on the 23rd. Staff were excellent and very professional. My room had a broken lamp but it looked very artsy so it wasn’t an eye sore. Also, the underlining of the curtains was torn but only noticeable when the sun shined through so my room was not an issue. Also, a huge shout out to the restaurant staff. My fruit bowl was not in my to go order and he brought it to my room door with a smile. I had only been in my room a short period and I was totally grateful for the great customer service. Will be staying here in the future.
