The room had bits and pieces of white fabric on the floor entrance--it was clearly not vacuumed thoroughly. The room was booked for three people, but there were towels for only two. The bathroom lights turned off and on with a sensor, but the sensor did not react while taking the shower, so the lights would turn off while taking a shower. The location is convenient--right by LAX airport--but the room seemed to be quite cookie-cutter, lacking some of the nuances that would have made the customer feel more at home.

Great value, close to downtown El Segundo and the strand. If you don’t mind staying a short uber ride from all the sights and sounds the double tree is an easy choice.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the condition of the room and the overall experience during my recent stay at your hotel from September 12th to 14th, 2025. Upon arrival, I was extremely disappointed to find the room in an unacceptable state of cleanliness and maintenance. There was visible mucus on both the dresser and the headboard, the carpet had brown stains, and one of the chairs in the room was visibly stained as well. Additionally, there was noticeable damage to the ceiling outside the room next door. The bathroom was also in poor condition. The toilet barely flushed, the shower head was leaking, the shower floor was stained, and water drained very slowly from the tub. I reported these issues to the front desk and was told that housekeeping and maintenance would be notified. After being out of the room for the day, I returned to find that while the beds were made and the trash had been emptied, the mucus remained on the surfaces, and no improvements had been made to the toilet, tub, or stained carpet. Only the shower head leak appeared to have been resolved.

Such an interesting spot, but so close to food and not far from shopping, you would have to drive/uber to a target. Overall the hotel is awesome & staff is great
