They did not have hot water the 2 days I stayed there but it is still a great place to stay as long as that does not happen again. The restaurant will be a wonderful added. Value when done
Hotel has black mold and it’s not very clean. There is a strong smell from the mold.

The hotel did not tell us that you have to reserve parking ahead of time, so we had to park on the street. We did not get a greeting from the clerk when we arrived. People walking around in PJ's, talking loudly, kind of ghetto.
No hot water for 2 days. AC making a weird noise 24/7 requiring earplugs to sleep. Room smelled musky. Safe in room inoperable. Stains on carpet in room and in common areas hallway. This is all too bad because the staff was nice and the location is great.
The front desk was very nice. The hotel seem neat and clean. There was never any hot water on any day that we stay there. They said the hot water heater broke and it would be fixed in an hour two days later still not fixed. It was very disappointing.
Great place, appeared recently remodelled, clean rooms and had a little more character than standard chain hotels. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.Other proprties on the same street were a little run down. Coupled with the default-locked entrance and the AM security guard in the lobby it gave a weird vibe, but maybe that's just L.A. for you.
Check in was super slow, due to a customer balking at every single thing, but once I got my turn, things got back on track. They even comped my parking fee for being patient. The room was stylish, clean, comfortable and quiet. Location wise, it is convenient enough to Santa Monica, Venice and freeways. Walkable food abounds.
The area of where the property is located doesn’t seem the safest for travelers.

Had to book on a whim, and the staff was very courteous. Security was awesome, they made sure our car was safe when someone took our registered spot. Parking in $35 bucks a night and I recommend it. the area isnt great. Hotel is though
We arrived at the hotel to find a cockroach on our way to our room. We walked into our room to smell of mold. There was dirt all around the shower floor and the room floor had not been vacuumed. We discovered that the shower was clogged and slowly draining. The next day when maintenance came to "fix" it, they only made it worse, leaving the shower full of dirty brown water all day. When we had asked earlier if it was fixed, they had no information. They switched us to a new room after complaining again. I was told I would receive a partial refund for the first day, and have yet to be compensated.
