I enjoyed how close this was to the metro and other reasonably priced restaurants. There is a CVS super close in case you forget anything. I didn't get to explore the hotel itself, but they have a fridge, microwave, water fountain, and little lounge area for guests in the basement. I stayed in an all female quad for a little extra security, the only downside is the AC did not seem to work at all. Thankfully, it was a pretty cool outside so I didn't get too hot, but I can't imagine how this might feel in the summer.
I would definitively stay here again if I ever traveled alone and in LA!
Such a neat place! Pros: the rooftop pool and bar were vibing, the rooms were clean, the lobby was very cozy. Cons: bedding was very minimal, I’d recommend bringing a blanket from home. There is a $15/day parking garage right around the corner (soooo close). Woul be a good option over the $60 valet parking.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I liked the hostel/hotel thing going for the hotel and the restaurants around the hotel were pretty good.
They have a small kitchen area with a fridge and microwave and stuff, which is very very helpful. All the staff were very kind and helped me with anything I needed. Def coming back. Thanks for your great hospitality

Oh my gosh this was the best affordable vacation I’ve ever taken. That rooftop pool is a VIBE! Carla bringing me the yummiest tacos in earth, chillin in the floatie, making friends in the pool. The bunk beds were an adventure and I made friends with the girls I shared the room with. Front desk was above and beyond helpful, and the kids serving coffee were as wonderful as the setting and the coffee itself. I cannot believe that place always as affordable as it was. I will go to ALL of THEM across the world!!!!

Good location. Front desk staff was kind. Housekeeping was good too. Although a good location its a bit noisy, specialky at nights. Linen is just fair. Rooms are a bit worn down. Broken Shaker bar is a whole mess. Staff would close the bar anytime they want to before the scheduled hours with a very poor reasoning saying there was not enough business. Well i saw other guests that are never coming back again.
Great property, awesome pool, nice rooms (including shared rooms 👍). Bring a blanket. Cafe was pleasant with pretty good food. 10 out of 10 would, recommend.
I liked the rooftop bar and pool. Good customer service. Only thing to improve upon is that there are a lack of water refill areas (other than basement lounge and cafe on lobby level) in the actual rooms themselves. Adding a water cooler to each room would definitely be beneficial
