I got the room with the tub by the bed and the carpet was wet in several areas. I dared not go in the tub due to the build up around the jets. As soon as I got in the room it smelled like de Reese was sprayed they had an air freshener next to the bed- that was a first. It’s an older hotel and hasn’t had renovations. There weren’t blinds on the window either-also a first for me. I wouldn’t recommend it

The outside of the hotel is very cute. The rooms are nice and offer all of the basic amenities. It is walking distance to many dining options. There is no front lobby receptionist. Checking in through a kiosk was a bit weird but easy. I never interacted with a live person on site, again kinda weird.

** MY STAY **

DON'T GET ME WRONG, THE ESTABLISHMENT WAS NOT NASTY OR ANYTHING, BUT IT IS A UNUSUAL EXPERIENCE NOT HAVING A FRONT DESK FOR CHECK-IN OR POTENTIAL PROBLEMS! AND MY OTHER ISSUE WAS THAT THEIR HOUSEKEEPING SEEM TO NEVER VACUUM OUR ROOM. LOCATION FOR US WHICH WEW ORIGINALLY THOUGHT WAS CLOSER TO DOWNTOWN BUT YOU COULD NOT TELL BECAUSE THE TRAFFIC WAS STILL HORRIBLE! BUT FROM WHAT I COULD SEE IT PROBABLY WAS THE BEST FOR THAT AREA!

When the hotel tells you to get your own towels and to take your trash outside it means it’s a 1 star hotel. I will take one star for every issue I encountered and give one star for positive. Found room very clean with clean smell (+1) On a second day a nice lady outside our room asked us if our room needed. We weren’t ready and she came back later and did a good job. (+1). Our sink flooded. They came to “fix” it right away (+1). 1 hour later the sink flooded again when we flushed toilet, ew! (-1). We were assigned a connecting room. We could hear everything next door. Loud TV, loud conversations late at night and early morning (-1). We stayed 7 days and in 6th day we requested cleaning. Because it was after 11 am, they couldn’t do it. 2 ladies were still cleaning other rooms. When I asked if they could take the trash out they said I had to to do it myself and directed me to get clean towels, toilet paper, etc from a closet. Unbelievable!! (-1)

4th of July Weekend

My wife and I stayed for three nights and had a really comfortable stay. Check-in was done virtually, which was super easy. The room was very clean, and for the price, it was definitely worth it. Overall, a great value and a nice place to stay.

I always stay at this hotel because I like everything about it however they took away they’re front desk staff and replaced them with a check in kiosk it is so impersonal and does NOT make check in faster it actually took longer. I always stay at this hotel whenever I’m in town it’s a great hotel however they got rid of there front desk clerk and have a check in kiosk it is so impersonal it states it will make check in faster it actually took longer. As much as I like this hotel I will be looking elsewhere I DO NOT like the change. Hopefully they will go back to an actual person checking you in because I really don’t want to stay elsewhere
