Couldn't get to the property because LA was on fire. Expedia still changed me $100 cancellation fee (as if I was at fault for the cancellation, even though everything was being evacuated). And the hotel still changed me.
We had to evacuate due to the Eaton fire as we had no power. Hence we booked this hotel for 2 nights. However we got back power before we checked into the hotel and so we called them to let them know we won’t checkin and can they give a refund. They refused inspite of telling them the situation due to the wildfire. They asked to contact Orbitz. I called Orbitz and the rep Jalalludin said he can’t do anything since the hotel is refusing to give the refund. This is so sad as there is no sympathy for customers who are genuinely in this wildfire situation and can’t predict when they can get back into their home. I am hoping that atleast Orbitz would do something to give me a refund or atleast a credit into Orbitz account since I always use Orbitz.

We had a good stay at Glendale Hotel. The location was perfect for all our of Rose Parade-related activities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I really appreciated the multi-option coffee machine in the lobby on our early mornings. Staff was friendly.
I think they have bed bugs. We stayed for 2 nights and my son and I woke up with red bites on our necks. We asked the employee at the reception but he said he didn’t know he worked nights and to go back and complain after 8:30 😩
the walls are thin. you can hear people upstairs walking, and people next door coughing. the place is clean. parking is a little tight, i have a half ton truck and i could barely fit in the parking spot, but then again that seems to be a common theme in big city parking spots. would i stay here again, yes, mainly because of the cleanliness and convenience of how close it is to universal studios.
Hotel location was great, ample parking, clean lobby, specious room, but the bed and pillows were awful. The pillows were paper thin and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. We both slept like crap.
