The listing boasts a rating of 8.5. This property is an old motel in a poor neighborhood. The room was clean in an odd, sterilized way. No amenities. Reminded me of a nice jail cell. I blame Expedia for misrepresenting the property. Bye bye Expedia!

I enjoyed staying here. Our key cards didn’t work and we had to get a new one almost every day we stayed there. It was a little obnoxious but the staff were quick to help!

Lobby area was kind of bare bones so we werre pleasantly surprised by the room. It was fairly Basic but recently redone and very clean. I would recommend staying here and we will probably be coming back on our next flight out of LAX.

It's sad because you can tell the owners are trying, but it is an old block building flop house. It appears that some units are monthly rentals. They have painted, re-floored and updated the bathrooms and kitchenettes, but the workmanship is second rate. All of the sheets and towels are threadbare and though they bleach and wash everything, most of them should be thrown away. It's on Century Blvd., near LAX, but the neighborhood behind it is not one that a stranger would feel comfortable walking through. I would NOT even think of bringing children here The price I paid here was only $11 cheaper than what I paid to stay at the Hyatt Regency in Portland, Or. several nights earlier. I derive no joy in painting this picture, I really do feel for the people who own it, but potential guests need to know the truth before booking this property.

When I got to the hotel it was quite early to check in but the staff that was at the front desk was very delightful. Very friendly, she was from Fiji. The rooms were nice. I would stay here again!

Although the property was convenient for me there was a lack of restaurants for eating in the area. The bus was also unreliable needing to wait in excess of what was posted by nearly 1 hour. The room would have benefited from a hot plate for self cooking, tea and coffee making facilities and providing washing powder for the onsite washer.

Check-in was great. Front desk guy was warm and welcoming. Room was clean. Location is kinda meh. Only one bath and hand towel available, but I could have asked for more. Bed was not comfortable, but that’s all about preference. One really annoying item? If you accidentally bumped the bed frame, it made this loud noise like you just kicked a full piece of sheet metal. Weird choice of frame to use. TBH, it’s not a bad place. Just not for me…

This is an affordable motel 1.7 miles away from the Kia center. I reserved the room for a concert, since I didn‘t want to deal with the traffic. I actually walked to the Forum both ways. I was unsure about late night, but I didn‘t feel unsafe. Area is ok. Room is ok. Nothing special to write about. no safe in the room, and the key cards don‘t work very well. You have to swipe very slowly. Someone was at the front desk with the same issue when I was checking in. It was fine for a night.

The lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful during our stay allowing us to check in early and being very friendly that it makes me sad to not be able to write a great review. The room was reasonably priced so my expectations were not super high but we found the cleanliness of the room mediocre. It wasn't terrible for a night but I believe the cleaning crew/maids are not taking pride in their work. If I was the manager of this facility I would reprimand the cleaning staff and begin the search for better.
