The hotel itself was wonderful, but Hotels.com dropped the ball. I arrived to check in and there was no reservations listed, but hotels.com said i was booked. Needless to say we did not get the room we thought we would

First of all, the hotel had sold out of the 2 queen room I specifically booked and paid for by the time we checked in at 8 pm. Staff exolained it was Exoedia's habit of "oversellling" rooms and took nk responsibility. The worst though was the next morning when I took a shower and the water was barely luke-warm. No hot water. When I spoke to the staff she said she would have maintenance look into it but because I booked through Expedia and not direct there was nothing she could do. She couldn't even comp my parking because "its a 3rd party company".For over $250 dollars a night plus over $30 for parking which is valet only so not easy to retrieve things from your car we will not be returning . Don't waste your money. For the price and location there are plenty of hotels around and I am sure you will at least get a hot shower!

Of course when one books a hotel near the freeway it is expected to be noisy. But there was additional noise coming from the floor directly above our room which sounded like renovations or repairs. Started very early in the morning. Toilet paper holder was broken in the room. Two queen beds , three people but only one bed stand between the beds. Nothing on either of the other sides of the bed which is impractical.

The mandatory valet parking is an unnecessary burden and added expense. Also, the 4pm check in is too late and the room still was not ready on time. Using the app for check in did not work. Even though a room was assigned around check in time I never received a digital key and had to check in at the desk. Then they assigned another room, which took more time for check in than usual. Our flight has us arrive at noon and it was still closer to 4:30 before we got into the room.

I arrived after my husband checked in and when I went to the room it was not the King suite I reserved it was a regular room. I immediately put my bags down and went to the front desk and the man on duty combatively responded "well you got an early check in so you don't get that room." I said "I would like the room I paid for as I already paid for it." He said no our room was "used" my husband asked if he would refund our money for the difference he said "no I'll comp your parking and it would only be a $15 to $20 difference so we should be happy with that. It truly ruined my experience and as we booked through Expedia, a third party site "it wasn't his issue".

I loved how helpful and kind the staff is. The roo. s felt soundproofed so that was nice bc my kids are loud. Breakfast was good. Pool was so fun cute lil area that is locked and private.
