Hotel was very nice. A lot of homeless people outside which is unfortunate. Only rating this place 4 stars because my tv didn’t work and the pillows were so uncomfortable that I had trouble sleeping/neck pain.

We rented a larger king suite with balcony on the top floor - the view was lovely. The room was in good condition and very clean, the patio furniture could use a freshening up. The area is generally safe - there are a few homeless on the streets, but no different than any other city these days. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful, always with a smile. I love the Santa Monica area, always have, and it's nice to see that it's improved over the years. This hotel is near many good restaurants and only a short walk from the pier. This hotel is also reasonably priced and safe with parking (for an extra fee). We enjoyed our stay, you will too!
