ON SKID ROW, DO NOT GO!!!

This hotel is on skid row. Had we known this we would have stayed elsewhere. The kids were constantly hot on by old men. They are 11 and 13 year old girls. I thought someone was going to stab me and steal our pizza! We had to download the police scanner after hearing sirens over and over and loud noises and people screaming and yelling. In just one night we heard on the scanner in our area alone, two literal kidnappings, a man strangling a small white dog, several police chases, domestics with stabbings, multiple shots fired and more!!! You can't go out at night unless you want to be messed with. The staff acts like it's no big deal. It costs a small fortune to park across the street in the so called "safer garage". They say it's safer because it has " security all night. So we had to go to the car around three am to get some stuff and when the lady opened the garage gate, four Hispanic boys wearing all back with backpacks darted across the street and ran into the garage before she could close it! We were the only vehicle parked there! Then we went to tell security and he was of no help. Just said it's fine, I can't see them anywhere on camera! Don't do it! My kids are so traumatized that I'm going to ask for a full refund!

The worst place I’ve ever been

Front desk kept me standing out site for 20 minutes in the cold without opening the door. I don’t think she thought of me as a guest. The date and time was February 4th around 7.30pm. The walls all around are so thin you can hear the next room and the once above very disturbing. The surrounding area to the property very very dangerous definitely not walkable at all. Please don’t stay here. Stayed one night and couldn’t wait to leave I. The morning.

The staff are very professional and the hotel is clean. However, the neighborhood is surrounded by large unhoused ecampments and is very dirty. The area is also very loud. We are out of towners and learned that this area a not very safe to walk around.

There was Cockroaches in hallway. Our Water took forever to get hot. There was so much noise at night. Staff at front desk was rude. Got an evaluation alert due to all the fires and they wouldn’t give a refund. After 40mins the evaluation was cancelled, but we were told even if the evaluation was in place they still wouldn’t give a refund. We left anyways because it was getting to heard to breathe with all smoke and it was getting scary. The homeless is so bad on that street. The first 2mins we were there a homeless man came to our car window asking for money. The Elevator took along time. Our key cards didn’t work we had to reprogram them about 4 times. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Lo que no nos gusto es que durante toda la estadía hubo un solo ascensor funcionando y el que iba a las cocheras jamás funcionó con lo que eso implica para bajar o subir cosas del auto sumado al cansancio que se acumula a lo largo del día. Incluso el personal de limpieza tenía que compartir con el huésped el ascensor con los carros de transporte de toallas/ sábanas. Nuestra habitación estaba en el tercer piso y según el peso del huésped y la cantidad de personas en la habitación de arriba crujían los techos. La verdad es que parecía que se podía caer encima de uno. La zona que rodea al hotel no es de las más linda pero la triste realidad es que homeless había por todos lados y esta no era la excepción. Sin embargo, en la misma manzana del hotel nuestra experiencia fue MUY SEGURA, sin embargo no nos desplazábamos caminando por ahí sino con el auto. El desayuno excelente y muy abundante, el personal de atención excelente. Y los espacios compartidos todo muy agradable. Las camas de buen tamaño pero el espacio de la habitación era muy pequeño. Poco espacio de guardado. NO TENIAMOS CAJA DE SEGURIDAD en la habitación. El baño muy bien.
