Very comfortable, convenient location adjacent to Koreatown, Mid-city, Hollywood and Silverlake. A bargain, and I will stay again. They lost a "staff and service" star for check-in issues: they're too strict about 3pm check-in time and the people at front of the line experienced delay because their room wasn't ready after they checked in and they had to come back to the front desk, delaying everyone else. That said, staff, including parking attendant, are friendly and efficient but there was only one person there at 3pm when everyone shows up to check in.

Lovely old hotel, staff were nice, room was clean but small but relevent to the price paid. Nice restaurant down stairs and little cafe next door for coffee and a light breakfast. 5min walk up the street to Paramount Studios.

Great location for out of towners going to the Hollywood Bowl; easy drive to remote parking lots and walking up the hill to get there. The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly. We paid for the parking and that was helpful to have available to us.

We feel that this hotel is a Diamond in the rough. When approaching from the East you could feel that this is not an area you should be in ,however when you open the entrace door you are wisked backed in time to the glamour of past Hotels. Knowledgeable Staff ,friendly , helpful. Has great restaurant and Cafe on the premises . Paramount Studios 5 min walk excellent tour.
