It was an old hotel that seems to have been remodeled many times. The finishes were worn and well used but clean. The beds were extremely firm and not very comfortable. The price was good and the location was great for our purposes.

This hotel is located in Koreatown, making it a great choice if you’re planning to visit the area. They offer free parking, which is a big advantage. The room is basic, so don’t expect anything extravagant, but for a one-night stay, it’s affordable and reasonable.

This hotel was right above a scrumptious coffee shop (open all days but Monday) and a Korean seafood restaurant (which I did not try because I don’t like seafood but it was clearly good because there were a lot of people eating there). Also it’s right in Korea town and you could totally just leave your car in the parking lot and explore, there’s many markets and restaurants to check out without even needing your car. I was there with my six year old so I couldn’t really explore much, but I’ve lived in that area and loved its magical little fruit stands and small shops and weird foods, it’s a very curious place to visit to get a little peek into Korean culture.

Though not the best area for kids, I had no problems at all as a single adult traveler. Neighborhood was quiet even with late night street food sales and residents out late. Microwave available meant down in lobby, not in room, and NO respectable hotel should be without an ice machine!

Property is decent place to stay. They are trying to upgrade hardwares in their property when we stayed there. The main hall of the floor we stayed has a lot of hardware boxes and their staff are still working and noisy past 5pm. Parking was a little bit challenging. Since they’re upgrading their room hardwares there’s a lot of boxes in the parking lot. They have a nice location, close to small businesses and variety of places to eat. Yag, the concierge was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you Hometel for a nice stay. More power to your business as you upgrade and improve your rooms! Looking forward to staying again in the near future!

The room was clean, but the mattress was thin and hard, not a big deal for me, but could be an issue if you have back pain issues. Staff was nice and friendly. That part of town is not very nice. The parking on site filled up so I had to park a block away, which was not ideal. There were only maybe 10 parking spots for the entire hotel.

The hotel was a little run-down and didn't give me the cleanest feeling, but I didn't see signs that things are truly dirty. Everything in the room was a little worn out. I am not sure what detergent they used for cleaning the sheets, but the smell clung to my pajama for days. The free parking was a big plus but the space was very small. If the cars next to yours was not parked perfectly, you would have trouble getting out of your spot. The staff was nice and friendly, and I wouldn't mind staying here again. I would also consider other hotels offering free parking within the same price range.

Great little hotel and easy parking for an LA hotel. The staff was great, the rooms were clean, there's a ton of awesome spots in Korea Town within walking distance for food and shopping.
