Great location to the Getty Center. Free breakfast, except for a 5$ service charge- and the fact that if you have more than 2 people in the room, breakfast is $35 for each person above 2- which is not mentioned in the description, or by the desk person, I learned about it when I arrived to breakfast. The floor/carpet in the small room knew better days. Since I had a strange feeling upon check out, when I did not receive the final bill, I checked and sure enough, I was overcharged $170 by the hotel, and the receipt was never sent. They answered the phone and fixed it- with a strange explanation (that Expedia's credit card did not go through- this did not make sense). In other words, I suggest to check how much you were charged. I am guessing that they charged me the full deposit and this might not be the first time they do it.

Came For A Weekend In LA!

We had an amazing check in with Tasha! She’s amazing and you guys are lucky to have her. Our initial room smelled funny so we asked for a different room and she helped ASAP! We were so grateful. We were a bit disappointed the rooms don’t open to the balcony anymore but we were happy with the new breakfast offered on the 17th floor with beautiful views just for $5. We had a great breakfast and an amazing start to our day and weekend. Cesar at the restaurant was amazing and very kind and made me feel right at home as I wasn’t dresses for breakfast and was looking crazy in my pajamas and robe (I’m sorry I won’t do that again, I thought it was continental, was just gonna grab coffee and a muffin lol) I love this hotel so much and can’t wait to return. Thank you for always keeping me safe and taking care of my friends and I.

Room for Improvement

I have found past stays here positive but this one missed the mark. Sometimes seemed short staffed. Some front desk folks were great and others not so much. Breakfast at the 17th floor restaurant was subpar as they were not well staffed, ran out of coffee, silverware, and food was so so. Just a poor performance but not blaming the staff they had as they were trying. Had to change rooms after the 2nd night since the air conditioner was so loud and obnoxious. Room change was made without issue and the new room was fine and quiet. This is usually a good hotel with a good price and location. This visit fell short in a number of ways.
