You get what you pay for
The walls are paper thin and the windows single pane; no issue with the sounds of traffic/the freeway (love that about the city), but hearing everything (and I do mean everything) going on between the couple next door 24/7 was unbearable. The employees all had surly looks on their faces too; I was never really greeted with a smile (from valet outside to front desk to housekeeping).

The affordable place to be
This hotel is a fantastic choice, offering great value compared to others farther from the city. The 30th-floor restaurant boasts an impressive view of southwest Los Angeles and features a happy hour from 5:05 to 7 PM. While the rooms are not large, they are thoughtfully designed. The free wine happy hour is a delightful way to start the evening on a high note. Its location, just five minutes from Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, is unbeatable. We’ll definitely be back!

Naz at the front desk made checking in a breeze and the rooms are well designed and comfortable. The complimentary Uber ride to nearby destinations was a really nice touch as well. The staff were happy to hold my luggage at no extra charge past check out which meant I could make a stress free, late morning trip to The Getty Center. However, service at the restaurant left much to be desired and the $20 parking credit is essential to keeping nightly stays more affordable. All in all though, it's a lovely hotel, handy to the freeway and I'd stay here again.

Chic but affordable boutique hotel
Excellent, reasonably affordable chic boutique hotel in Bel Air, off highway 405 (so a straight shot to LAX or easy access to Beverly Hills, etc). Located just by the equally excellent Getty Center, one of LA's top attractions. The hotel is nice and clean. The restaurant on the 17th floor has wonderful views of LA, especially at night and a capable menu. The cuisine is commendable and well prepared in optimal sizes. Good heated outdoor pool and a gym next to it. Highly recommended.

Great property! Great views and friendly, helpful staff. Not in a real walkable area, but the staff did direct me to an easy to access site on foot for basic snacks and supplies. Easy to access the freeway and my beloved UCLA! Very comfortable. I will stay here again, it will be my West LA location! (I just wish that the doors on my terrace opened...would have loved the fresh air and to check the weather!).

Very nice hotel but not quite 5 star because 1) the location causes it to suffer from road noise and 2) there is a mandatory $40/night valet parking charge that came as a surprise.
