Waited in the lobby for 15 minutes before anyone came to the front desk so I could check in. When she did arrive, she was less than friendly or helpful. Our room smelled like weed and the pillows are the size of a saltine cracker and horribly uncomfortable. Other than that, things were ok enough for the 8 hours of sleep I needed. Very overpriced for the quality!

Staff was great, excellent coffee in Hotel office, room was clean and updated. Minor things still needed fixed in room but nothing that would prevent me from staying again. I felt safe and the pool area is very nice.

Shuttle to port

One night stay before cruise. They offer a shuttle that is free if you book direct. Since we booked through hotels.com e had to post $50. Room is very small. And possibly haunted.

Love the location but was disappointed this time. The front staff was not friendly. The floors in the room were not very clean. Also, the beds had peanuts between the sheets and the bed frame.

This hotel was a complete waste of money. I didn’t know I was staying at a 1star motel. Bad customer service from the lobby. The beds are small and uncomfortable. The AC unit sounds like an old Chevy truck all day and night. Just a terrible experience overall.

Hotel Current? More Like "MOTEL PAST"

I don't see how this MOTEL can continue to market itself as a Hotel. And I certainly don't understand what a "3-star rating" means anymore. To start, parking lot is an awkward, over-packed mess. Look at the chunks of building lying on the ground and you can imagine the poor souls that tried to park in the dark and did some "remodeling" of the building (and possibly their vehicle). Next, you'll notice that all rooms open to the outside (not internal hallways). I thought that was a definitive characteristic of a motel. And, further, bathroom window was exposed to dark alley. Not the end of the world, but not hotel experience. [note: you can see the back window from the microwave that is also in the bathroom area] The staff was very cordial and professional at check-in and answered our question about wifi immediately and effectively. We didn't use it but the pool area looked nice enough. The location was handy enough - and I'd presume cruise customers would find it quite so. I didn't rate it lower (if there was 2.5 stars, I might have picked that) because of these positives and given we were only there 1 night. But 3 stars is that absolute maximum. If the price and location are right, it's good enough. But don't expect anything resembling a Hotel as it relates to the rooms.
