I had high hopes & expectations for this hotel as it is rather well rated by others. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. Room was musty, dusty odorous with dirty smelling pillows and bedding old carpeting. My bed felt fine but partner bed had some sandy material and felt as though something crawled on face. Bathtub drain backup. Furniture unmatched, acquired through thrift shops? Remote taped to hold together.

The Huntington Hotel was a cute quiet little hotel with nearby mountains. The place had a very serene feel and very accessible to restaurants nearby. The room was minimal but it had everything you needed. Pillows were a bit flat but I used 2. Overall great stay!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not sure why they provide a Keurig type coffee maker in the room but no actual coffee. Also, they don't provide hand soap which would be helpful. But you can use the body soap dispenser in the shower for soap.

The front desk service was helpful and accommodating. Had some issues with the air conditioner working in the room so she switched me to another room which fit my needs. Check out was easy. For the price and this being a motel/lodge, it was a good stay.

stayed a total of 3 nights for Labor Day weekend. We arrived on Friday night and checked in with Emmanuel who was friendly guy, we got to our room & the guests in the connected room next to ours were smoking marijuana so our room reeked of the smell so my wife and I returned to the front desk and Emmanuel was very helpful and moved us to another room. Thankfully this room was clean with no issues. The walls here are very thin as the next morning we woke up to our new neighbors getting it on & they were not quiet. Very unpleasant ; lucky for us we believe they checked out the same morning & the rest of our stay was fine. The area is great for dining. Recommend eating at Grano, a family owned Italian restaurant near target & Cafe De Olla for breakfast in the old town a few miles away. We might have just had bad luck with the first night there but the rest of our stay was pretty decent. Appreciate the hospitality from everyone who was working at Hotel Huntington, Thank you.
