My sister and I shared a spacious room with x2 queen beds which were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, good feather pillows too. The the room had a nautical theme which was quirky. A very large bathroom with a walk in shower was perfect for us. The sheets and towels were changed daily. Housekeeping generally was very good indeed. The reception and bar staff, Richard were exceptional in their service and advice. The location suited us well with restaurants and shops close by along with arranging tours of the Aquarium of the pacific, the queen Mary, Downtown LA and Hollywood and the USS Iowa. We would definitely come back to the Hyatt Centric again!!

Pros: Property overall was good. Really convenient that shopping and dining is right there. The room was clean and the pool was neat. Location was awesome. Cons: the website states it has laundry, but there is none. Some of the staff were moody. Helpful but just seemed to have attitude.

Thought this was A pretty nice hotel, and it did look nice. Unfortunately, my in room coffee maker was broken and the icemaker on our floor was also broken. I did never get a coffee maker fixed. I went down the street to Starbucks, which is close, but I did get ice, but I had to go to a different floor. I was just a little disappointed overall. I probably stay there again though.

4pm check in with an 11am check out and $25 per hour you stay past 11. The cafe downstairs is also insanely expensive, for mediocre food. Although the staff at the cafe and the front desk were amazing. Parking structure is not full size truck friendly with very limited clearance.

The pool was closed for repairs and when it wasn't there was a private function taking place in the pool area. Otherwise it is great. Conveniently located to the convention center, the Marina and the ferry to Catalina.

Really great place to stay pre-cruise. Tons of food options within walking distance. The staff was super friendly with great recommendations, too. Our room was comfy and the pool was a nice place to hang out also.
