Rooms are decent, but service is disappointing. We stayed as a family with two young children and had a frustrating experience with the breakfast buffet. Despite both kids being under 7, we were charged for their meals — and only informed after we had eaten. When we raised the issue, staff deflected responsibility instead of acknowledging the error. The breakfast itself wasn’t worth it either: the espresso machine was broken, food options were limited, and the pancakes were burnt. If you’re only staying for the convenient airport location, it may do the job. But otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel due to poor service and lack of accountability.

We had a blackout in some of the rooms, they didn’t give us an explanation, nobody was answering the phones, I have to wait in line to talk to the only staff member there for more than an hour since 12 to 1 am , when the power get back the elevators stop working so I couldn’t came back to my room until almost 2 am in the morning, when I ask if they were going to give us an amenity or discount very rude they said I don’t think so…..terrible

Everything was great until we checked out. We had an early morning flight on 7/25. We left the hotel at 3:45am. We scheduled a hotel shuttle pickup to the airport the night before. The shuttle pulled out of the parking garage, drove right past us, and left us standing in front of the hotel. The driver told the front desk rep he’d be back in 20 minutes. We had a flight to catch and couldn’t wait so we had to order an Uber. At that time of the morning, the uber cost is surged, so it was $25 to go to the airport across the street. Very very very frustrating!

Great location but needs better pillows

Just an overnight stay before flying home the next morning. Very close to FAX and it has a convenient, frequent airport shuttle. The only issue is that the pillows were very uncomfortable for both of us and disrupted our sleep.

Hyatt Regency LAX is the closest hotel to Los Angeles International Airport, located just steps from the terminals with a free 24/7 shuttle. The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet, making it perfect for layovers or early flights. Guests appreciate the modern amenities, fast Wi-Fi, and the Unity LA restaurant and market, which are open around the clock. While food can be pricey and shuttle waits can sometimes be long, its unbeatable location and comfortable rooms make it one of the best choices for convenience near LAX.
