The front desk staff at La Quinta Inn in Pomona explained that they had ample parking all the way around the hotel, and outlined a map for me to my room. So it was easy to find a parking spot near a door, and get my luggage from my car to an elevator. It saved me steps and stress as I’m over 70 and by myself. That was great and I appreciated that.

Room 153 the sink hot and cold water are backwards. Wasted time and untold gallons waiting for water to heat up for a shave. Never in my life have I seen hot on right cold on left. Never dreamed until I check the tub which had hot water.

Hotels.com misrepresents room

We were supposed to have a Double Room King per Hotels.com, however, when we showed up were given a regular King Room without a sofa bed. La Quinta said they only have the Regular King and King Suite, but not a room called Double Room King, which per the picture on Hotels.com looked to have extra space and the sofa bed.

Wouldn’t stay again

Received the wrong room at check in, the staff said they were sold out and because it was booked through a 3rd party they couldn’t help. Got to the room and we were located in the first level, I happen to check the sliding glass door to outside and not only was it unlocked but slightly open, scary when you’re there with your family. It was incredibly noisy, got no sleep, not only outside train , police activity but the hallways were lit up and extremely loud from everyone in the area.

Spacious rooms. The train is close by so sometimes you can hear the train. The room we stayed in needed maintenance on the shower safety handle. Rooms don’t have a towel holder for the hand towel. The front desk clerk (Mariann) was very nice and helpful,
