Only reason I gave service a 4 is because sometimes they seemed surprised to have guests. When we were served, the servers were friendly and attentive. Apart from that, they made us feel at ease and the stay was very comfortable

I last stayed at this hotel in March 2018 and had a very positive experience, which is why I chose to book it again for a one-night stay with my son in Los Angeles. While booking, I noticed the hotel now has a rating of 7.4, which surprised me—I had expected a higher score based on my previous visit. However, after our stay, I now understand the lower rating. The property no longer matches the standard I remembered. While the staff was still relatively friendly, the overall condition of the hotel has declined. For example, we had two queen beds in our room, and both were visibly crooked and unstable—it felt like the bed frames were loose or damaged, which made for an uncomfortable night. Unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to my past impression.

This hotel is super ugly, dirty, and they charge you for everything, even for the coffee. On the website it says the internet is free, but in the hotel they tell you it's not free, and the breakfast is terrible. They also charge you, it's not free. This hotel will charge you even for the toilet paper. It's super ugly. Do not stay at this hotel. There is no friendly staff, they are rude. They charge you for the coffee and for everything, you have to leave them a ridiculous tip. Do not stay here.

This is a great location for parents supporting students at UCLA. The main building is reasonably equipped and in decent shape. This time we had rooms in the upper building which smells of sewage and is very run down. Furnishings are damaged, dirty and mismatched. Curtains and carpet were stained. The breakfast was great and staff were very friendly.

Pretty Disappointed

Our room was super tired. We had friends stay here and say their room was much nicer. Doubt ours had been updated in several years. Smelled like cat pee. The biggest disaster was the restaurant. We waited 30 minutes for our "Free" breakfast and no one helped us. It was ridiculous. There were only 3 people working in the restaurant. So sad. We ate there the 2nd day and it was quite good. Total bummer
