The hotel was well very nice overall. Good design and spacious rooms. The shower was nice but the rain shower could not be activated. The thermostat did not seem to work as well. Also, it would be better to put the bathroom shade inside the shower area rather than outside. Doesn't make sense when the privacy is controlled by the people outside. The mattresses were too soft for our liking. Despite the hotel being quiet when we used the elevator (and the fact that there were three of them), it took a relatively long time to use. The lady who helped me both during check-in and check-out was not very friendly. Not unprofessional but just not very friendly.

The Japanese Breakfast was delicious! The spa is also highly recommended by my wife. However the furniture and carpet in the rooms needs to be replaced and updated.

A/C was horrible!! Did not work even on the lowest setting. Hotel should focus more on functionality instead of just Aesthetics. Paid $200 to try to sleep like I was in the desert!! Freaking ridiculous!! When I told the front desk that I didn't enjoy my stay, the lady guessed correctly that the A/C wasn't wiring properly... imagine that!! NEVER AGAIN!! STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LOVE HEAT!!

Not what I expected for the price and Miyako Brand
Room was hot that we were unable to fall asleep and even though maintenance came to reset it twice, the issue was not resolved. They brought us a fan as their solution. Sliding door latch was broken and they were able to fix it. Didn’t want to leave our room without that issue being fixed as someone could enter our room. Remote for the tv needed a new battery, they provided a new battery. The following issues were not reported because I could live with it and night person who answered our call was rude and hung up on us when we called a second time to report that the AC was still not working. I didn’t want to encounter another negative experience. - Reading lamp was not working. - The toilet paper holder seemed to be repaired using hot glue and it was barely hanging on. Had to carefully hold the roll holder while taking the toilet tissue. - The towel rack easily popped out and needed to be put back on every time I removed my towel. - coffee and tea were not refilled on the final day of our stay. The hotel location was excellent, safe and clean. The room was dated but still okay if everything worked properly. The self parking was readily available. Some staff had excellent customer service and greeted guests wonderfully and provided an atmosphere that we expected from the Miyako brand, like the young gentleman that helped us bring our luggage to the room and the housekeepers. The front desk was not as I would expect and did not have basic customer service skills.

Very nice neighborhood and so close to shopping mall, Japanese restaurants and Mitsuwa Japanese market. Staffs are so nice and friendly. Hotel room was very clean. Love the bath tub.
