The elevators were always broken My room did not have the proper sheets on the bed I upgraded my room for corner view and it was blocked by the tv and the curtains didn’t open

I love Moxy downtown LA! Where I don't really need to leave to have fun! There are so many things to do, places to eat and drink that my vacation is always fun! The room had a beautiful view, it was clean and I was able to do an early check in. I was pleased to see the room size and amenities. Honestly the best for what you pay for! My only comment was some of the staff ( not everyone) most of the reception team were awesome, but more so staff and security of the venues are super rude. The hostess of La LoLa Rooftop was my least favorite, she def made us feel we were not welcomed, Okay then, I'll never come back for sure! Not welcoming at all. But the experience overall was great! There was more spaces for us to enjoy that the rooftop didn't matter as much. Amazing place to stay, close to everything!

It is convenient and room is comfortable. It is very tiny but for 2 people is ok. It is loud, and noisy. However it got quiet after 11pm so sleep was ok

I recently stayed at the Moxy for a conference at the LA convention center. The location could not be beat as it was literally across the street. I took a few stars off for location in general as that part of downtown Los Angeles can feel a little unsafe at night, which is good for other travelers to be aware of who are not as familiar with the area. Despite other reviewers saying how small the rooms are, and compare them to hostels, I did not feel that to be the case. I found the bed to be very comfortable, the room was stylish, and the hotel staff was helpful and welcoming. There is no closet in the room (you can only hang your clothes on hooks from the TV) but I did not find that to be a problem. I had a corner room on a high floor and the views were stunning. During the week, I did not hear any noise. Would recommend this hotel as long as you do not need a lot of extra amenities in your room.

Terrible..outdoor music blasting from 6 to 11 PM.

Terrible. There was an outdoor patio on the 8th floor below me that blasted Mariachi music from 3 to 6 PM and then super loud pulsing dance music from 7 to 11.
