Cozy Home Away From Home

This was a charming boutique hotel with basic creature comforts. For what it lacks in luxury, it redeems itself with service. Thanks especially to Evan for the hospitality during our stay. I would recommend packing lightly. Otherwise, be creative with the use of space as there is no closet nor dresser for wardrobe storage.

The hotel like many in the area is overpriced considering the accommodation. Parking is $25 a night. There is no room view out of the window . There is also no individual heating and air conditioning options in the room. The hotel is poor but there are many that are worse in the area.

A beautiful way to experience a Unique and Quaint boutique hotel in West Hollywood/Melrose area. The cafe is only open in the morning and possibly lunch-check with the hotel on times. There is no bar, but fortunately the mini-fridge accommodated with a nice half size bottle of Rose’ and other choices which got us to dinner. We were fortunate to have an excellent dining option at ADQT, French-Japanese within walking distance and I would never miss another opportunity to dine there again. The filet was out of this world as was the report on the sushi and lamb. It is also a unique and posh atmosphere-perfect for celebrations! But the hotel is top notch and close to all the great sites, shopping and super clean and romantic. 5 stars, even without the bar.

Melrose hotel

This boutique hotel is very near Melrose and the West Hollywood area. The front desk staff was super helpful to reserve a parking space for our truck since we couldn’t fit in the garage. The hotel is quirky and could use some updates. Our room was street level on a busy road but hotel provided earplugs. May not be ideal for light sleepers. Staff made us feel very welcome!

There was a noticeable and very strong scent of cleaning products throughout the hotel - may have been Fabuloso or something similar? While it was clear the space was being maintained, the fragrance was a bit strong at times, and could be overwhelming- especially to those sensitive to fragrances.

the vibes were so perfect! nothing is included, so be prepared for that, but I loved my stay here! super cool place and staff was very friendly. would definitely recommend. Great location on Melrose, too.

The tv remote was sticky, there was only one robe hanging and had to tell the front desk about that. We didn’t want to get charged because there were two of us. A Soupcon of France in West Hollywood

A comfortable, low-key, well-located, charming hotel with a French accent in West Hollywood.I thought it was good value for money; the room was delightful; and garage self-parking only $25, a real bargain in LA.I'd stay there again.

I stayed at the Palihotel for 10 days, late June-early July and i have to say- it was amazing! I actually booked this hotel after the first one we booked into left us feeling quite unsettled. After a gut feeling we booked palihotel last minute and the staff were amazing! They allowed us to check in early and suggested some places to eat in the area. Staff were always very helpful and patient (especially since we were always up asking for our AC to be adjusted). The hotel was clean and decorated well, the amenities are minimal (ie a very small fitness suite and no pool) however that wasn’t an issue for us! The rooms are a good size and the beds are SO COMFY! The area on Melrose ave is lovely! Found it to be very easy walking distance of the main part of Melrose ave (with wonderful restaurants/coffee shops and cute boutiques) as well as easy enough walking throughout West Hollywood (and up to the walk of fame) and Beverly Hills! Close enough that you can take an easy, but long (6 miles) walk into silver lake/los feliz which we did- but I’d recommended driving, the metro or Ubers. There is a cat cafe a few doors down where they have rescue cats (ready to adopt!) and it’s also a 5-10 minute walk from Melrose trading post which is such a lovely market! I would absolutely stay again! 10/10!!!
