This property has three good qualities: 1) the proximity to LAX, 2) the complimentary breakfast, and 3) the staff. Other than those, the property shows its age, it's dingy, the parking stalls are small (got one ding in my rental car), and you have to pay for parking. There is only one elevator and luggage carrier, which made it difficult to leave on a busy weekend. Other reviewers ranked this hotel higher, which makes me wonder where they stayed. This is a 3 star hotel at best!

It was okay. Nothing to impress us or really upset us either way, which is why I’m giving it average reviews. We stayed because it was inexpensive and near the airport and we just needed a place for a few hours of sleep before an early flight. The room was clean and comfortable and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. It was walking distance to a few restaurants. Overall, it felt like a cheap hotel. Nothing was gross or unsafe, but it was very basic and everything felt in need of some minor repairs (a crack in the sink, some cracks in the tile, chipping on the bathtub, loose temperature control for the shower water, paint poorly applied). The pool was in a non-sunny area and the water was cold and dirty so we didn’t use it. Significant lack of decor or anything that added a honey or welcoming feel. There was a slight smell as though someone had smoked in the room several weeks ago, but the room had been cleaned and aired out since. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again, but for the low price, it was adequate.
