Culver City Ramada

Outside the room, I didn't care for my room being next to the patio where people can smoke and.talk on speaker cell phones. I didn't like the trucks and.cars eing close to the front door. Some construction workers have noisy trucks and get up early. The free breakfast items is not worth going to the room. Cofee made be automatic machine, few slices of bread and packaged pastries that is comparable to 7Eleven. Laundry was oit of service.

This hotel is convenient to where our son now lives. We were there for 5 nights. Continental breakfast was only so-so. The only available boxes of cereal were all sugar-coated. The last morning syrup finally appeared for the plastic wrapped pancakes. Of the 2 juices (no water) in the machine, one was never refilled the whole time...even after I pointed it out the third morning.

The room was nice. Eventhough the rooms are non smoking we had people smoke right in front of our room which made our whole room smell. We also had a neigbouring guest be very loud and a bit scary in the middle of the night right next door. Paramedics had to come to calm him down. The person was still there throughout our stay making our stay uncomfortable. Also the washingmachines were out of service.

The location was perfect for what I needed to do in that area of LA. The one drawback was trying to depart on Sepulveda Blvd. The far left lane heading West formed a wall of cars that made it unsafe to cross over if you wanted to go East !

Misleading representation of the hotel

The hotel is not all enclosed but rather when you step out of the hotel room you are outside directly. Security is not as good as it should be for the area in which the hotel is located. The picture of the breakfast is extremely misleading. Breakfast consist of pancakes with no syrup, mediocre coffee, bread you can toast with butter and jam, and packets of instant oatmeal. There are no fruits within 10 miles of that continental breakfast. Boxed cereal. That's it!!!

The front desk did warn me the room was noisy, but I wish I had heeded that advice. I was consistently woken up by people using the ice machine outside my window. People using the elevator would often talk too loud as well. The room itself was otherwise okay. I wish it had a smart tv and a fridge and microwave though.
