My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We had a concert scheduled in our evening, but dropped by the hotel to check in at 3:10pm. At the reservation desk, the staff were at odd, arguing with eachother. It took 15 minutes to check in due to them having only one printer. We finally checked in, unloaded our luggage and saw that the hotel was really aged, deteriorated and needed maintenance bad.
We left to our concert, came back at 11pm after a wonderful evening. As we walked into the hotel, I walked into the restroom and saw that pipe had burst in the ceiling, and flooded the area and damaged my wifes sundries travel bag, all her cosmetics were ruined, as well as her hair dryer.
I called the front desk as soon as possible, and the gentlemen said he would do what he can to help. I walked to the office and he wanted to see the damage, he confirmed and he gave me room keys to another room.
After we packed our suit cases, and went to room 417, we realized that the light switches didn't work and neither did the A/C.
My wife became very enitional and said "I dont like it here, it doesn't seem safe or clean, let's go home.
So we went home after experiencing the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
