Staff was very non customer friendly. Because of the area you walk up to plexiglass window outside and deal with a very non friendly person. Not very welcoming. Plus toilet backed up

A deposit was due at check in, haven’t had to do that in a while. The room was two beds when I had reserved for one king bed. Room was no smoking so my partner went to smoke in the balcony and was told to go smoke somewhere else. Got woken up by the people next door at 5am!

When we arrived at check in time starting at 2:30 the lady in the front told us system was down so we couldn’t check in we checked again at 3 like she said and still down, then she switches shifts with a guy and im assuming didn’t tell him we had been waiting so he checks everyone else in first and we had to wait. Then the room we got had the ac unit inside the bathroom mirror area so the room was never fresh and honesty that made the review a 1 star because of the inconvenience and the ac unit being in the bathroom and not cooling down the room.

It was decent. Area is super sketchy but that’s LA. Room was clean, bathroom too. Everything was a lil worn down but not dirty. No use of pool or breakfast which is misleading in the info breakdown, they should remove that as a mentioned amenity but over all it’s a deal if you’re prepared for it. If you aren’t used to downtown LA value hotel, it can be scary. But worked for us and conveniently located to LA Convention Center

Clean and comfortable
The room was large, clean, and comfortable. It is definitely an older building, but other than a few of the plantation shutters not being attached (they still moved to a closed position) everything appeared to be in good shape. The parking lot is fenced-in, which helped it to feel secure. It is obviously not luxury like you get downtown, but you don't pay luxury prices either. We would stay here again.

I made a trip with some friends and it was gonna be their first time in LA. When I saw the picture of the hotel, I thought it was nice but when I get there I was embarrassed because the hotel didn’t looks that good. The room had a funky smell.
