Horrible property and fake photos.
The hotel is horrible and the room has no maintenance in any way, the bathroom has the w.c. broken and has no soap nor shower curtain, it has flying bugs all over the room, the smoke detector was cover d with plastic and it has a mariguana smell so strong that get me and my family dizzy. When I asked to the receptionist for another room, told me there was no availability and I asked for cancelling the rest of the reservation, she told me she will do it, and now I found it was not cancelled. I had to pay for another hotel room for safety and health and the property is still not wanting to cancell and refund. Don't go to this property, it is using fake photos and fake information.

finally came to work on it. could be fixed so we were given a new room. The second room had no trash cans or working lights. Phone was broken. While checking out this morning, I notified the front desk clerk. I asked perhaps we can have some discount she said no. I won’t be staying there anymore.!!!

Upon arrival my assigned room lock did not work. After trying another room, the lock malfunctioned too. Upon the master key opening of the room, it was in a state of dis-repair. The room was evidently part way through a remodel, smelled of smoke and cannibis. I was moved to another room. The third room I was assigned had a working key and lock. However, the room had several dead roaches in the bathroom, on the counter top and on the floor. There were also several additional live roaches for entertainment. The TV was working but limited to the 12 channels programmed in. The towels are almost tissue paper. The fixtures and fittings resemble what should be red roof. However, the rest of the room other than the drawers and TV unit was motel six. The bed was like a temp fold out mattress that was in permanent place, The 1970s wood chip wall paper was painted brown, sweet. I have stayed in red roof properties on the East Coast, they are clean and modern. This property in Bellflower and the one in Blyth CA are sub standard. After my third night I had pretty much become accustomed to the room. The housekeeping only showed up if you were waiting in for them. Which is awesome if you work all day. Requested room service and received it so that was OK. The lady I interacted with at the front desk the most, name not remembered was lovely. She was working 16 hours somedays and was always cheerful when working. This property does have a pool, but the gate was chained closed, beautiful.

The hotel was old, the air conditioner did work but was old, rusty and was taped in position. The bathroom tub was old with marks from being worn down. The bathroom was surface clean but not thoroughly. cleaned. The floors needed scrubbing. The comforter was thin like a sheet and the towels were very thin. They only had 1 washcloth the entire 3 day stay but she did give me extra towels. There were no cups or ice bucket. No hooks to hang towels in bathroom and no hangers in the room for clothes. I had to go to the front desk and ask; she gave me 4 hangers to use which helped. The bed was off balance and moved and made a noise everytime you stepped off of it. Every time we left and came back our key didn’t work. No one came in daily to fix our bed or change our towels. It was loud at night; I didn’t feel safe as our door shut but appeared like it had been previously tampered with and the thing that serves as a safety hook at the top was broken. There was a lot of activity at night and my daughter asked me, “isnt that the prostitution hotel?” She is familiar with the area. The only good part was the front desk ladies(2) were very nice. Truthfully , I wanted to cancel and go somewhere else but I’d already paid so we stuck it out. I was really disappointed but my hubby talked me into staying but I will never stay at a Red Roof again; I previously thought they were a decent hotel but I’d be afraid to risk it again.

I opened the room door and I went straight to the front desk to cancel my reservation. Strong smell of cigarettes, cockroach in the bathroom, hole in the wall, leak in the toilet seat are some of the issues. This room can not be rented. This hotel should not be in this website. The front desk lady promised that my money will be returned to my credit card in 3-5 days. I can only hope they at least keep their word. Do not come here!
