Clean, efficient, funky, cool retro and industrial edge to the decor, good for the price, walkable to big venues (LA Live-arena, theater, convention complex), Grand Central Market, Little Tokyo, and more. Check-in is very efficient with keypads, a bit impersonal but appealing to the introvert or person short on time. Decor was creatively chosen and very “on-trend”, but design and fixtures of the room, while sufficient, were slightly sparse, purposefully minimalist crossed with a hybrid of retro/industrial/rustic.

This hotel is located in an area where I was uncomfortable traveling solo. The hotel offered suggestions for public parking that were unavailable. Additionally, the check in process was via text only and included uploading driver’s license and credit card information. The customer service was limited to electronic communication only. No staff were available to assist me.

Hotel was nice and comfortable. I expected the room to be just a little bigger but otherwise it was good enough. The shower was the only downside nothing to cover the water from splashing everywhere. Overall it was a nice stay.

I know that Down Town Los Angeles is having a severe homeless and addiction issue. The hotel was average but, what impacted my view of the experience is how bad parking was. It was disgusting and extremely expensive. The surroundings of the hotel were filthy. Plus, walking a few steps felt unsafe. I will not stay at this location ever again.

The staff were amazing and the room was great. Unfortunately Downtown wasn’t the exact vibe I had imagined, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Good for a short stay though!

We stayed here for the price and location. And I guess we got what we paid for. The room. Bed Sheets are literally plastic and mattress is of the lowest quality. Shower tiles need a DEEP clean and carpets were disgusting. Sat and Sun nights there’s a club and your room will vibrate till midnight. We did love the coffee shop inside and the keyless entry. I needed to be downtown for work unfortunately DT La has just gotten extremely unsafe and taken over by the homeless.
