Have to ask for room cleaning. The thing you put out of the door didn’t work. Phone in our room does not work so we had to go to the office to request for housekeeping. One of the beds had a stain, didn’t replace the sheet, just made the bed. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Staff waited for our late check-in. We had a quite terrible flight to LA. Thank you.

Great location, not so great hotel.

A decent location just a couple blocks from the beach but not a fan of the hotel itself. Very old, no elevator or help with bags so I had to carry my 50lb suitcase up 2 flights of stairs myself, amenities were so-so, shower head was absolutely disgusting, carpets were stained, blinds were broken. This hotel could just use a little upgrade and TLC.

We absolutely loved staying at the Sea View Inn. It was minutes from the beach and had many restaurants within walking distance. It was such a nice touch being able to rent out chairs and towels for the beach as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Manhattan Beach!

The staff here are amazing. Friendly and helpful. The access to the beach is a short walk downhill and breakfast, lunch, and dinner options are walking distance. My only complaint (and I mentioned this during checkout) was foot traffic noise from the unit above us. Definitely could benefit from some soundproofing. Otherwise, we had a fantastic experience.

This is such a great quaint little Inn right across from the sea. The property is split between 3 buildings but there is ample parking, and many restaurants and cafes are walking distance as well as a market, liquor store, and a few yoga studios. Highly recommend if you want a non run-of-the-mill stay that’s unique with a great ocean view and accommodating rooms!

Amazing, quiet location. I wish the hotel was maintained better. It definitely needs a renovation. Let me explain it this way; you take a roadside $60 old motel and put it in Manhattan beach! Thats how the hotel is! Location is amazing but I won’t stay in that hotel again.

Overall we were not impressed with this property. We only stayed one night. When we arrived & walked into the office to check in (4 pm on 10/5) the woman at the front desk was not very friendly. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. The hotel itself is very old & has multiple buildings with units located on all 4 corners of the intersection. The updates to the property are like putting lipstick on a pig. It needs more of a renovation instead of just slapping on new tile & flooring. The floors were uneven & they weren't clean. We could feel the fine sand left behind when walking barefoot. We had a room for 5. The place was definitely not worth the price & we won't be coming back.
