A great place for a conference
My best find was the microwave in the room. Yeah! I never found the ice machine but they f8lled my glass in the restaurant. A suggestion would be to have the ice machine marked on the floir map.

It sucked. I booked a room with a king size bed but when I checked in I was given a room with two queens. When I notified front desk they said they didn’t have any rooms with king size beds available and HOTELS.com shouldn’t have confirmed the reservation knowing this information. This was supposed to be a romantic night for our wedding anniversary but turned into sleeping in separate beds because a lack of customer service. Also, the breakfast in the restaurant is gross and valet takes breaks without letting any staff know while leaving guests wondering how to get their car.

They. Charge extra for parking which I was left with the impression by expedia was included when I made the reservation. But then the property had so many other events it made finding a nearby parking place impossible.Had to use valet parking with another extra charge. EXPEDIA be more upfront!

Parking lot was almost empty with a lot of free spaces , but I’ve been forced to pay $20 on top of full price reservation I pay already. I will Not recommend this Hotel location to no one that I know because of the fraud parking situation in there . Also will post on social media about this $20 parking nonsense going on in this specific location.

Book our night stay through Expedia for our wedding. I booked the room under my name and when my (now) husband went to check in they told him that he would have to book a new room since we missed the check in time. They told him that Expedia would refund the money so he booked a new room. Contacted Expedia and they were told that they don’t do refunds. So we are out the two night stay and had to book another room. Unprofessional and throwing the responsibility on others. The feel of the hotel is an older Las Vegas hotel, needs some updating and smelt of stale smoke.

Where do I start. First time in Claremont to drop off kid in college. Chose this hotel for the quality associated with Marriott name. But it is worst than any hotel I have ever stayed in my 40 years of travel. The duvet was without cover. It was sandwiched between two bedsheets. Airconditioner had its own mind and wouldn't follow the temp setting. The room did not have basic amenities like hand soap next to sink. Imagine having to go to shower each time you washed your hands. Fixed bottles in shower like a 3 star MOTEL, which the staff didn't bother to check for contents. No tissues either. Very poor quality towels. On the 4th day, room wasn't cleaned or attended by housekeeping. REASON - they were short staffed. The front desk sent a very angry housekeeping staff with towels at 6 pm. He was verbally aggressive with threatening body language. He backed off and left as soon as I pulled out my phone to record him. THIS IS A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN. This hotel is old and disgrace to Marriott brand. The elevators are operating with temporary certification indicating serious safety issues. One elevator has a sign restricting it to max. 2 people. The restaurant was closed for first 3 days. You had to place online order and pickup your food. Not even room service. I plan to visit Claremont atleast 3 times a year for next 4 years but will never again go near this hotel. There are better hotels in Claremont.
