The coffee maker didn't work. It was loud at night before the car show and horrible the night of car show. We left and stayed somewhere else. The parking was horrendous. The staff was very nice and polite.

The apartment looks like it was renovated not so long ago. It is well-appointed, with a functional kitchen and very nice bathroom. My only real problem with the place was the street noise. The apartment is just one floor above street level with large, single glazed windows. During the day there is quite a racket from noisy engines and car sound systems. To make matters worse, there is a liquor store almost directly opposite that stays open late and the customers were pretty loud sometimes. I had booked 3 nights, but left after 2 as I couldn't stand it.

I appreciated the amenities like a Roku tv, full kitchen, rain shower head, sleep machine, and it is pretty conveniently located to a Whole Foods and several places to eat; Metro stop a quick walk of about 6 blocks.

We had the best time at Sonder. It was our first time at a Sonder and I was a bit hesitant because the price was a great find for the area over the dates I needed. The reviews stating the area is a bit rough aren’t totally wrong but I would say if you have a good sense of your surroundings it’s really no different than any other downtown area. The hotel itself was very safe and secure and the app made entering and exiting quickly very easy! The location had a lot of great walkable coffee shops and dining options (again, using your best judgement on getting around safely) and had a small, reasonable priced, parking lot right next to it ($30/night) as well as hourly meters out front. The room was extremely well cleaned and had all the amenities I could possibly need. It was a bit noisy in the evenings with street cars and sirens but I appreciated the complimentary ear buds to help with this very common city stay challenge. Thank you Sonder for an awesome stay!
