the pool was amazing. front desk staff were also very accommodating. the area around the hotel isn't the nicest but that is LA for ya! i was single woman travelling solo and i didn't feel unsafe walking alone, just be aware of your surroundings.

Staff are welcoming and valet parking was easy. I like that you need your hotel card to use elevators. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. I love the aesthetic and it was very modern. Roomy also. Only gripe is I wish there was a fridge, but maybe im just picky! But other than that, 10/10 recommend !

I was put in a room that was not cleaned, when I informed the front desk they put me into a new room. The downtown area is overrun by the homeless. So sad that nothing is being done about it.

When I arrived to the hotel, they did not have my reservation I booked through hotels.com and claimed they weren’t contracted through this third party app. Luckily they were able to find me a room but it was not the room I requested and charged me over $600 on top of the $500 I had already paid for the two night stay. Also, the AC didn’t work so it made my stay very uncomfortable. The hotel itself was decent and had a great diner and rooftop bar. But the room was so incredibly tiny, it was hard to even move around.

The hotel room was okay, the bathroom was a bitt annoying to deal with as it didn't have a fan and we just found the room layout (i.e., bathroom location) a bit awkward. The lights were very confusing to use, most times we just ended up leaving them on because we couldn't figure out how to turn it off. That being said, the location is great, there's a lot of stuff to do in the area and great food options.

This hotel had some of the best dining options in Cabra and the dinette on the lobby level. We didn't have one bad bite of food from the hotel's dining options. Perfect rooftop pool, as well!

we love the hoxton hotels. excellent coffee, amazing service. downtown LA is a often in a bad way, and this was true of some of areas around the hotel. this hotel does make up for that tho. only suggestion would be, please add a sauna!

We love the Hoxton! Great location, charming decor, friendly and helpful staff and fabulous restaurants on-site. We ate dinner at Cabra 3 times and also like Moonlark.
