Pool and outdoor seating is very nice. Restaurant/bar had very slow service and drinks and food took forever as one person taking orders, making drinks and cooking. It was too busy to have one staff working. Food was just ok. Rooms were just ok too. Spacious, clean but dark.

I recently stayed at The Cove Hotel in Long Beach, and overall, I had a good experience. The hotel itself is beautiful—clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect from a quality stay. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any requests. The only downside is the surrounding neighborhood, which isn’t the most inviting. While I didn’t encounter any major issues, it’s worth noting that the area can feel a little sketchy, especially at night. If you’re planning to explore, I’d recommend using a car or rideshare rather than walking around too much. That being said, once inside the hotel, you feel completely safe and well taken care of. If you’re looking for a great place to stay pre cruise in Long Beach and don’t mind the surroundings, The Cove Hotel is a solid choice!

Pick this place, you won’t regret it!!!

We needed to stay on Long Beach for the night as we were taking a cruise the next day. After several searches for a hotel within close proximity of the port at a decent rate, I decided to pick the Cove. Everything was perfect! Friendly service, clean, and the food and drinks were excellent! I wish it wasn’t so cold and rainy that day as we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or outdoor games but I definitely plan to come back and stay again! Highly recommend!!

Awesome time 😁

Beautiful place.. weather was a little on the cool side for the pool although was heated , very beautiful setup lit up at night. Bar service is excellent, will be staying there next time in L.A. .

Excellent place, SUPER clean!

We arrived early from the airport, but they were able to get us checked into our room before noon. We had lunch next door and the room was ready. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon entering our room, the first thing we noticed was how clean the room looked and smelled. I can't recall the last time I noticed that and was very impressed. The beds were comfortable and the room had everything (refrig,microwave, iron,hair dryer). The heated pool looked nice and inviting, but we did not enter as it was a little cool outside. We would definitely recommend staying here. We are headed on a cruise and are not far from the port.
