Service both in the hotel and the restaurant were excellent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. However, the patio doors don’t close completely, so I heard the highway noise all night. The noise wasn’t super loud, it was just constant.

Staycation I wished I could have extended

Check in was fast and easy, the grounds were clean, staff was helpful and kind. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the view was great, body wash, shampoo and conditioner was great. It was a staycation and I wish I could have stayed the whole week. I will certainly plane another staycation in the very near future and take advantage of all the great things the hotel has to offer!

February 22, 2025 at the Garland

We’ve stayed at the Garland several times and it always seems better than the last. It’s easier now to access Netflix and YouTube on the TV, and WiFi, without needing passwords. Very friendly staff and quick service checking in and out.

We loved everything about this property. The rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable. The pool area, bar and facilities are great. The trolly to Universal is a really nice amenity. We will definitely be back and recommend it highly.

Was promised a bottle of wine and room upgrade. Unfortunately, we didn’t get either. I did however get an email saying late check was available for an additional amount. We were here for our 5th anniversary and probably won’t be back. There’s a LOT of other options nearby.

I loved the live music and the courtyard. We stayed in a room that faced the 101 freeway and could hear car noise. In the future I would request a room that was on the back side of the hotel for a quieter experience.

Our stay at the Garland is by far the best experience we have ever had with the hotel. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The atmosphere at the Garland is luxurious yet low key. This hotel offers transportation to Universal Studios via trolley! Our children absolutely loved the poolside movies. I would stay here again anytime!!!
