I will forever and always make the Garland my first choice in LA. It is like a second home. It truly is a best kept secret. The Garland is a perfect hotel if you have family, business or traveling solo. The ambiance is suburb. With that being said, the customer service and employees make it even better. We will stay again and highly recommend to everyone.

Our room faced the street and was very noisy—definitely not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet stay. We also had an unpleasant encounter with a staff member (Hayley?) in the restaurant who was rude and clearly not interested in helping guests. The beds were uncomfortable, parking was overpriced, and overall, the experience didn’t match the cost. Not worth the value.

The property itself was amazing and the transportation shuttle to Universal was a huge perk but each night we stayed it was very loud due to various events held at or near the facility.

We woke up at 3:30 am and the air wasn’t working we called up front and they moved us in 15 minutes and extended the checkout time. Greatly appreciated the prompt service in the middle of the night with 2 kids

We had a great stay at The Garland. Super convenient if you plan to go to Universal Studios. The hotel shuttle was always on-time with friendly staff. The pool, bar and food were all great. We would definitely stay here again.
