The hotel itself is very nice and rooms were great but the area it's in is horrible parking situation was also very horrible too many homeless and drug users in that area was verbally attacked in the parking lot did not feel safe in that area at all

Wonderful wonderful wonderful hotel! We loved our room! It was spacious, and clean. My kids had their own sleeping space. It was very comfortable. My only negative was the location. Not knowing much about LA, didn't fancy the dirty streets and flies everywhere.

The hotel was great. The restaurant Flamebachi had great food. Just be careful of some of the sketchy characters in and around the neighborhood. We saw a show at the Belasco and it was very convenient. The room was great. Spacious clean, comfortable and modern. The woman at the front desk was Swedish and quite friendly. Everyone there was great.

The neighborhood is pretty sketchy! This is on the verge of a pretty rough part of town which I didnt ealize when booking...thus the decent price I suppose. The place itself was larger than I expected but did have a funny layout. Ceilings are open to each of the bedroom areas so don't count on privacy if you are traveling with someone. The design was neat, and vibe was cool. Lots of doors! It was overall fairly clean, but the bottoms of my feet were dirty after walking around, and dirt got on towel when i was wiping up some water. The windows are VERY thin. I hear everyone that was outside in this particular unit, 8 floors down. It sounded like the windows were open and they were right outside them. Screaming, music and sirens all night. I did rent this unit because I needed a kitchen, so that was convenient. I might stay here again, but with husband in tow.

Great place!

Excellent place in walking distance of a lot of sites. My only suggestion would be to have a broom and kitchen towels available to clean up after ourselves (kids).

The hotel itself was safe and clean, however the neighborhood surrounding it does have quite a few homeless people around and is dirty. If you walk up one block it gets better and surprisingly a lot of good restaurants are nearby. Public transit was better than we expected.

Amazing room

Our room was great. It was able to accommodate my large family. The only downside to it that the heaters didn’t work in the room. Thankfully it wasn’t too cold for my baby that evening. I enjoyed the kitchen as they had some utensils for us to cook. Enough beds for everyone. Also the place was great as they accept my dog.

Great place, really enjoyed it. The outside though is a different story. You are in the heart of downtown maybe like 6 blocks from skid row. Just gotta get over the riff raff outside. Can’t beat the price and comfort, our room basically felt like a studio apartment. Would stay here again.

The Haas was a wonderful location in the midst of downtown LA. It's in the heart of many districts, such as the fashion and jewelry districts and it is conveniently located close to all of the sights and experiences one can have in LA. We did experience a minor leak in the unit that was repaired immediately while we were away. The communication with the staff was impeccable and the front desk clerk was friendly. The location did expose us to the unhoused population, however, the building had security measures to ensure safety. I would definitely book this stay again in the future.

The room was great, very spacious very clean. Only issue was getting on top of the bunker bed, wish there was a more easier access like stairs rather than a ladder. Other than that. I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone.

Kinda hard to navigate to it if you are driving a car there. The parking lot that has surveillance is a block away so be prepared to walk with your things, the lot also closes at night so prepare to stop at the hotel first to get the clicker. The hotel was beautiful though
