The hotel was nice however the room was hot and stuffy. We turned down the temperature and left for dinner and when we returned it was still hot and stuffy. We called the front desk and they said the AC was on a motion sensor, which means it turns off if you’re not in the room (or when you’re sleeping). They said they could bypass the motion sensor since we were “VIP” but even then, the room struggled to lower the temperature. We couldn’t sleep well in a warm room nor enjoy our time in the room for the same reason. We won’t stay here again for that reason.

Fun stay in Santa Monica
We just stayed for one night, but had a great time. The hotel is walking distance to the pier, but it's about a 2 mile walk. Staff was friendly and efficient. The penthouse restaurant really could use an upgrade, but the views are tremendous.

A beautiful hotel, quiet, close to beach but not on the main drag. -check in took forever even though it was 3pm and staff at check in was overly casual and didn’t seem to care one way or another.

Great view., though the most unobstructed one was from the bathroom of all places. Coffee shop did not open until 10:00am. Pain to go back up to roof or down the street. $55.00 a night to park your car. Short staffed in the garage and with bell hops. Long waits.
