While this was a historical ship, I was really hoping for service, and cleanliness that was actually like. Cruise ship. The room was pretty battered and the walls were paper thin. I got to hear a couple argue for much of the morning. The ship itself was falling apart, with many light fixtures and stairs broken. In my shower, there was broken tile with a whole where the spigot was.
For 200 dollars, I expected something a bit more than what we received. In addition to all of this, they upcharge $32 for parking and a $20 resort fee (for a place that is nowhere near a “resort”).
This place is all gimmick and unless you are a ghost hunter, or paranormal explorer, I see no reason to book here. Even then, I would stick to the tours and not stay at the hotel.
The best part was that it was a 15-minute drive to my actual cruise, where they actually take care of you and your room.
