Ok for a 1 night stay but as a woman traveling alone with a child I didnt like that the dead bolt in the room door didn"t work. Staff said that it doesn't need to work as door auto locks but I disagree.

My experience was without trouble. Some issues in previous reviews were evident: yes, the bed creaks, yes, the parking is $10, yes, the facilities are pretty bare bones. But! they had my reservation properly, the parking garage had open spaces, I walked to dinner and Starbucks, location was great for the beach.

As arrived at property we were charge with a $10 fee for parking per night, when we booked it said it was free parking( false advertising) breakfast was horrible, self serve cereal that tasted old. long lines to make yourself a waffle. Mattress was old and cheap noise bed, house keeping was horrible they DONT restock your room or make your bed everyday. Hallways smell like cigarettes smoke .

The front desk man Kevin was horrible! He has no hospitable bone in his body! He yells and raises his voice because it is obvious he hates his job and guests. I asked questions and he threatened to cancel my reservation. I asked for my receipt and told me he would call the police after I took a picture of my receipt. UNACCEPTABLE. I said, go ahead I will complain on his harrassment.

Starbucks across the street. Gelson’s supermarket two blocks away. 20 minute walk to the beach. Very kind and responsive staff. Clean and Quiet. Great deal.

Excellent hotel, pricing, and area.

This area is very nice, we decided to walk to dinner both nights and felt very safe doing so. Rooms were absolutely huge. We booked the family suite which was two full rooms and two full bathrooms. So nice with 5 people to not share a bathroom! My only suggestions for improvement: 1. Do not charge your guests for parking. There is nowhere to park but the garage, and charging an extra 10 dollars a night seems very cheap and leaves a bad taste for everyone. 2. Breakfast was nothing but carbs, so we had to spend about 150+ more on our trip to eat breakfast at a restaurant. Might have been better off booking a hotel that was more expensive but had healthier breakfast options. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again and suggest it for other families. It was also bargain pricing compared to hotels in the area.

Great place to stay and close to downtown manhattan beach! Super chill and no problems during my 6 day stay. The only reason it wasn’t a 5 was because the breakfast was limited to fruit-cereal-and waffles

This place is a little gem walking distance from the Manhattan Beach pier. Overnight parking is only $10! Breakfast included. Comfortable and convenient.

Overall was average maybe even good considering low price paid. But you could feel and hear the metal under the matress so didnt sleep well and my back and neck hurt following day. Didnt fet the extra towel requested from front desk after check in. Staff and guests friendly and did have the continental breakfast included. But you pay 10.00 per day for parking

They charged me a $100.00 deposit and refunded me only $50.00. I called the hotel and they told me the sheets were dirty and they kept $50.00 for cleaning. I stayed there only one night and the sheets were not dirty. Though, the hotel itself is a smelly filthy dump.
