odd bathroom

the counters in the bathroom were no sufficient and the toilet seat cover could not open all the way due to the counters being too low, no microwave and was informed at check out if we needed one we could have asked for one to be brought to the room?!. Everything else was lovely. Kinda a odd use of cabinets also. I would say the bed was fantastic and the hotel was lovely. I would stay again for sure

The room was really nice. However the staff was confused about my reservation. I reserved a King and they gave me a room with two double beds. Had to go and request a switch. All went well with that, but later in the evening after coming back from dessert, both our room keys did not work. We had to go back to the front desk to have them reset. Upon our return to the room, there was a used plastic drinking cup from the lobby in our bathroom. We never brought one of these cups up. This was unnerving as it seemed someone had access to our room. Then at 6:00 am someone tried opening our door asking if we were in the room. We shared this with the Hotel Supervisor in the morning. She apologized and said she would check into it. I have not heard from them yet.

The Westin is a nice hotel but needed a little tender loving care. It’s in need of some updating and fixes. The blinds were lopsided, the shower had very little water pressure, it’s just a bit outdated. The air conditioner is preset and wouldn’t get colder than 70° at night even though we had it set for 68. But it was fine for our short stay.
