Please be aware that they actually DO NOT have a continental breakfast even though they advertise it. They even mention what is in the continental breakfast in their welcome email. But all they have is gross coffee and juice with black clumps in it. Expedia has been trying to reach the manager to get some of our money refunded as we had six people and three breakfasts that we then had to buy instead of having it included in the hotel. But so far the manager has been “unavailable”. I will update this review once we hear from the manager.

Water was shut off when we arrived. Came back on...then was shut down on our check out day...super inconvenient. Phone on our hotel didnt work, so had to call from cells everytime we needed something. Lobby had an OVERWHELMINGLY strong airfreshener. Then 2nd floor did too, which was a different/stronger smell. Pool was closed when we got there...supposedly a light was out. Our kids went in for 20 min and their eyes were.red and skin burning due to insane chlorine usage. Ordered a rollaway and literally did not fit in a 2x queen room. Very odd stay -- I don' leave bad reviews, but this was such a crap experience.

Customer service was great! The staff was very kind and helpful. Attended to us when we needed and provided all the necessities in the rooms. There was always parking no matter what time we came back to the hotel. We liked that the pool was indoors and heated since the kids wanted to swim on a cold night. Location was convenient and close to Universal Studios. There was an old smell in the hallways and it was visible the building was old but overall a great and comfortable stay.

Staff was very friendly upon check in but that's about the only good part. Once we got to the room we were very disappointed that it didn't look anything like the pictures online. Very limited outlets, no table to sit and eat, pictures torn off the wall and lights that didn't work. Also, the bathroom defiantly wasn't as clean as it could be. We went down to tell the gentleman in the office but he said he couldn't move us to another room and that the maid and maintenance guy had already left for the day. The only thing he could do was give us free parking for the two nights we were there. The maintenance man supposedly came up to our room the next day while we were gone but nothing was fixed. The maid also came in and cleaned the bathroom. The hotel is very close to Universal Studios and there are a few restaurants down the street but we didn't feel comfortable walking anywhere. The pool is also too small to really enjoy and was even closed one of the nights we were there. All in all it was a room to sleep in but we won't stay there again. Just know that what you see, is not what you get!

I specifically chose this hotel for the indoor pool. The water was disgusting and it smelled really bad. We were not able to get in the pool at all. The only time i needed something i asked front desk if they can bring towells to my room they said they would and didnt bought them. Front desk dont answer the phone when calling from the room.

There was a lot of noise in the room during the night. We kept waking up in the middle of the night because of the noise, people walking in the stairs and hallways, on the roof, you can hear people talking in the other rooms. Also we weren’t expecting to pay for it parking $27 per Day. The service was great!

It was ok! but the bed was so bad it was like sleeping on Punky Brewster's bed. We did call the front office, and they brought us extra pillows and a comforter, but that did not help. Also, the housekeeper walked in our room because she left her phone on the desk; she didn't knock; she used her key and walked right in.

This hotel is walking distance to Universal Studios, however it is uphill, which had us taking an Uber the second day. Clean room, friendly staff. Highly recommend the sports bar (all ages) General Admission and the pizza place across the street for food. Both are easy walks.

This property is a very low grade hotel with a shady office entrance that is quite different from the staged photos and videos presented online by the management. Smelled odd, no hot water after about 5 p.m. until morning, and power outlets were shorting in and out in both the bedroom and bathroom. No light worked in bathroom 2 of the nights we were there.

Arrived early to the property and was charged £154.92 to check in early. No catering onsite and when I asked for a Spoon they said quite rudely we don’t have spoons only forks. Also was charged £86.88 for parking onsite when I didn’t have a car, the man said he would refund me but I still haven’t received it. Apart from the fact it’s a quick 20minute walk from Universal I wouldn’t stay here again.
