We had a great stay and were plesantly surprised at how clean and roomy the rooms were (we had 2 rooms on 2 different floors), enjoyed the complimentary drinks and bathroom amenities, and the staff were excellent! From check-in to ckeck-out, the staff helped to put the cherry on top of our stay.

Overall it was great property. I was checking in late and the agent could not find my reservation. I understand that it was not his fault or mine that my reservation was not showing up, but was not very friendly, never provided me with a reason as to what had happened. Did not try to empathize. I had booked a room with a king bed and he said all he had was a room with two queens. The overall front desk experience at check in was bad.

There are a couple of things in the room that need replacing, water damage at bottom of bathroom floor, but otherwise a great hotel with good room service and amenities.

Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was simple, area was a little questionable after dark and room had some wear and tear that was visible in the bathroom. Room had no ability to close drapes so could not darken room during the day. Otherwise great experience.

Friendly hotel good for Exposition Park and access to Downtown LA. Metro nearby as are local economy dining options as expected being in a student area. Staff friendly and helpful. Some fittings getting a little dated but all were high quality and we’d stay again without hesitation.
